Purple Glow Dior 2025

The opening was promising. I could immediately smell the iris and violets, like a sweet violet candy with a hint of berry. It reminded me of a youthful, watery version of Insolence Eau de Toilette. It felt gentle and soft, almost like those classic violet waters or violet baby perfumes. Very girly, and judging by the campaign and ads, it is clearly aimed at teens and younger customers.

However, as the dry-down sets in, the florals fade completely, leaving only a light, watery, sweet raspberry note. It ends up smelling like a fruity body mist, pleasant but one-dimensional.

Honestly, this scent would make more sense as a body mist in a larger bottle, like the Sol de Janeiro mists. In its tiny plastic bottle, priced around $100, it feels completely overpriced. All three perfumes in this new line end up as one-note fruity sprays, and the packaging looks more like a lip gloss than a luxury perfume. It simply is not worth the price.

Trying to complete the "spot the difference" game with these :

1) "La Vie est Belle L'Elixir | Lancôme"
2) Rouge Trafalgar Eau de Parfum
3) Miss Dior Essence
4) French Kiss
5) We Believe in Glinda

So, It has that same dna and honestly it's not different from the "synthetic raspberry" (very sharp - candy - lipstick), might be better because it's cheaper, but still. To be honest this perfume is really uninspiring to me, maybe because it wasn't made to be better than that? I don't really know anymore.

got a sample from the store, went to test it out at home. it's...nice, i guess. a bit generic. starts out sweet, raspberry and there's a sort of powderiness from the iris. but you can definitely sense the syntheticness and it is definitely very sweet, which is unfortunately something i am not interested in. longevity is...not amazing, and it honestly reminds me of the strawberry drugstore shampoo i used to use when i was 10. some people do like this, and congrats to them for finding a new signature, but to me, although it's nice smelling, and i wouldn't mind this on another person, IMO the price is wayyy too much for what you get, same case with all the other glow addicts really. many scents with a similar profile for far less of a price (a lot of celebrity perfumes are similar to this), at this point you're paying really more for the brand name and celebrity association than the actual perfume (am aware that is a common thing but seeing the quality of the scent it seems to be more of an issue here).

these seemed promising, really sad that dior fumbled the glow addicts.

It's almost disrespectful how bad it smells.

I sniffed it at Douglas and went in with high expectations. Wrong thought, the first whiff was fruity, sweet, but nauseating. I took the scent strip with me to give it another chance in the dry down. It actually only got worse.

Such a shame, something good could have come out of that combination!
