Greener is not possible
With this mini from the flea market, I really hit the nail on the head. Lily of the valley with leaves, flowers, and stems were extracted, macerated, and concentrated....
....to create a scent that feels like sitting right in the patch with them. Very unsweet (which I like), but a bit too bright, which becomes more pleasant over the course of wearing it.
I can also well imagine that "Diorissimo" contains galbanum. So, it doesn't get any greener!!
Then there's the jasmine, which brings a hint of sweetness but also in GREEN.
And if I imagine a temperature for this scent:
May morning, ice saints, feeling like minus two degrees... therefore, I can also easily envision "Diorissimo" as a summer scent on hot days, because it definitely "cools down" and refreshes the spirit.
Now it has completely lost its "brightness," just a pleasantly cooler, far-reaching scent.
But here too, the "devil" is in the details: soon gentle little kitties are circling me in the lily of the valley patch, even though civet is not listed above. (my little bottle is from 2010, before the reformulation craze)
I wouldn't buy a large bottle, though, because the "mini (5 ml) is very economical.
A "tiny sip"....
....is enough to scent a room!

Jasminator
I also made the beginner's mistake mentioned below: I had Diorissimo as a classic, which is also wearable by men, in mind and spontaneously tested it upon sight. When I checked here on Parfumo, I saw that I had tested the slightly darker reissue/EdP. And this one apparently can't hold a candle to the original and I don't like it at all as a jasmine bomb. I still don't like this flower. Nowadays, one should (if one has the opportunity) check online before testing in-store to see if it’s the right version that one is holding for testing.

The scent is bitter, dull, musty - total jasmine. The actually pleasant lily of the valley in the top notes is reduced to mere skeletons. I like sweetness, but this cloying jasmine is disgusting to me and also too intrusive and somewhat grandma-like. I see no land with this note and hardly anything positive. And the entire perfume consists of this, making the test no fun for me. The powdery-animalic musk in the background only heightens my dreadful goosebumps.

The bottle is a beauty and longevity (over 8 hours) and sillage are also top-notch! But I really don't want to smell as strong as I currently do.

Warning: Only for jasmine fans! It should be clear to test the original, which I will definitely get my hands on soon.

Jasmine Roller
So today I wanted to take a classic for a spin and what do I do: I grab the 2009 reissue as Eau de Parfum instead of the Eau de Toilette from 1956. Such a rookie mistake should of course be punished -->

The jasmine rolled in like a monstrous steamroller, first flattening the lily of the valley and then me; musk could only count the seconds until it was also its turn. After an hour, the lily of the valley and I had somewhat recovered, but the sweet-intensive, sultry jasmine still loomed over us.

I haven't tried the Eau de Toilette yet, but I think that with a more complex bouquet (which seems to be the case there), this scent could really be a delight: testing to follow. However, this Diorissimo is just too much of a good thing/jasmine for me.

The mother of all Lily of the Valley is getting old. She can no longer keep up with her offspring - such as Synthetic Jungle and Cavatina

Powdery, musky, lotv-floral. If those 3 attributes are your ride or die, you'll love it.

Strong scent. In this edp version you smell the Jasmine heart too, but the LOTV is still vibrant and narcotic. A wonderful springtime scent.

You don't charm the wives of BASF and Henkel by offering them Diorissimo alongside their fabric softener.
Jasmine-scented synthetic.

I wish I could like it... but the jasmine hits me hard until I'm flat on the ground.

I stepped out with just one spray in front of the room aviary and got a sneezing fit from four beaks... Too bad, I actually like it.

The good old lily of the valley in an exciting form. I think the special jasmine is what comes across as fruity and zesty here.

what a disappointment! It stinks on me! I remember how it smelled in my youth. Wonderful! I love lily of the valley, it was authentic.
