Goes on Strong
Miss Dior comes in a charming bottle, very pretty girl if I can say so. The fragrance is tinted ever-so-slightly pink.
It goes on strong, much stronger than I personally like, but also dies down rather quickly.
I can smell the neroli in the top notes, but the perfume is eight years old now that I’m writing this review. Maybe the rose was stronger while in her youth, but more than anything there is patchouli, and lots of it.
I see this as a date night perfume. I don’t wear it much during the day, and I don’t reach for it often, but she’s here with me still after all these years.
I have perhaps 30 sprays left in the bottle now and that should last me a couple more years. After all, I own way too much perfume to wear her frequently when there are so many great modern fragrances out there to swap on a daily basis.

Sillage 2-3 feet (not bad)
Longevity 4-5 hours
Price? I don’t remember, but for me back then it was expensive.
Bottle is super cute

Miss Dior EDT 2013
This is the 2013 Eau De Toilette version of Miss Dior Eau De Parfum 2012. I love them both but truth-be-told, I like this version a tad better. It smells like the parfum version but the patchouli is dialed down, making it less overwhelming. I'm so happy that I bought this when I did and had the good foresight to also buy a back-up bottle at the same time. Besides the origninal Miss Dior Cherie (with the popcorn and strawberry note), this discontinued version is my favourite. Simple in its composition and beautiful on the skin.

Encounter with the Younger Sister
I got to know and love the classic "Miss Dior" as a very young woman. It was an exceedingly elegant, feminine fragrance that also invited cuddling. A bit too elegant, too grown-up for me at just over twenty.
"Miss Dior" was one of the first "real" perfumes I received, and that was just by chance.
The wife of my then-boss worked at the perfumery of Bubi Scholz. (Yes, he was not only a boxer but also a good businessman in his time, with several perfumery branches scattered throughout the city.)
Originally, "Diorissimo" was supposed to be a Christmas gift for me; I had wished for it.
Well, "Diorissimo" was not available at the time. So I received "Miss Dior" in the well-known bottle with the houndstooth ribbon.

Some memories are hard to revive; they often tend to become stale.
I didn't want that, and for this reason, I decided on the EdT of "Miss Dior."

From the very first application, I was not disappointed. The fruity blood orange warms immediately, invites you to linger; it "slows you down."
The rose scents develop almost too quickly for me, while the waxy white of the neroli takes its time to reach completion. But only to ultimately trigger a sense of well-being that I didn't even know I needed so urgently!
Patchouli - my Special Darling - is then the finishing touch - the ultimate! At least for me.
The feel-good factor is achieved.

I perceive "Miss Dior" as a successful, much younger sister of the well-known fragrance.
She does not want to compete; she wants to be herself. Different, but no less beautiful!
And in this sense, I enjoy this fragrance time and again. Not every day, but when I do, then with full joy!

Little Sweet Miss
The first day after the Christmas holidays. I haven't been in the office for two weeks. What will await me? In such situations, it’s sometimes good not to be alone.

So I brought Miss Dior along. Light and carefree, sweet and fruity-floral, she now hangs around my neck and wrist.

Woody? - More like a very thin veneer. The young lady has youthful charm. She is Daddy's favorite. She still thinks she is the center of her little universe. With her youthful and pretty appearance, no one can really be angry with her, but probably no one would trust her either.

To sink an opponent without warning, she is a real insider tip for wearers who intend to do so. A woman could hardly come across as more harmless. The sillage is quite weak even for an EdT. The longevity for me is around 6 hours.

For all younger ladies who want to start a spring-like day lightly and carefree, Miss Dior would be my recommendation. Unfortunately, for me, she is just another fragrance that confirms my prejudice - that I can't connect with the house of Dior.

The Exile from Dior's Paradise
Well, who really knows why John Galliano is no longer the chief designer for Dior. But with Galliano came the Miss Dior Cherie line after the first Miss Dior. The era in which Miss Dior became wearable for me and many others - who couldn't wear Miss Dior - through the addition of "Cherie." Lovers of Miss Dior would call it "updating," "diluting," or "making it mass-appealable." To what extent Galliano was involved with the perfume itself remains open. Galliano left, and with him the "Cherie" in the name.

I can't detect any similarities to the "original" (that was exactly how Dior intended it). New fresh meat was to be marketed for Dior. This includes floral, fruity scents that do not bother the environment for 12 hours + X like the original.

It starts fruity - fresh, mandarin-like and really delicious, almost bite-worthy. The strawberry is only perceptible in the background. A light sweetness, reminiscent of a honeydew melon, joins in. The heart is not very complex, but memorable and speaks a clearly floral language. Gradually, the almost exclusively woody base comes in, which is often and gladly used. A versatile weapon for good perfumes, so to speak.

A true all-rounder - with a lot of charm and paired with a lightness/freshness that still does not compromise longevity! The nice thing about it: a real chypre and this time also wearable for me :-) I could recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

PS: I can also confirm the similarity to Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle (especially the EDT).

Inoffensive scent, but dries off quickly leaving with nothing really. All and all pretty basic.

In its pretty bottle, a so feminin flowery-patchouli accord quite longlasting and perfect by day mainly in the middle season. A lovely scent

such a flawless maiden-wonder scent, but really well done. Cozy pastel patchouli-rose-orange combo, brings sunshine + spring with it.

Balanced, elegant, office-friendly, a good mood fragrance. Perfect for summer, like a glass of rosé on the rooftop.

I found the scent to be sharp, floral, and diluted.

If you're going for it, stick to the original. This version is up to date and a bit generic. Beautiful, slightly fruity rose scent with a creamy base.

A very atypical rose scent, not at all "grandma" or soapy, like roses usually are. Incredible sillage! Classic but very present.

The scent is bland and below average! Rose-Patchouli can do better. Sweet, undefined, rose is not recognizable. Worth €15?

"Miss, you forgot your bouquet & your Dior day cream."
"Oops, didn't even notice, it smells just as good everywhere here.."

Soapy aldehydes, subtle flowers, a bitter-woody-spicy chypre with a typical Dior base.
