A Scent Like a Discovery
It is winter. Outside, the frost crunches underfoot, inside the freezer hums softly. I open the door and rummage through forgotten peas, ice shards from freezer burn, and pizza boxes. At the very bottom, there it is suddenly: a Solero ice cream. Hidden or overlooked.

The opening is like opening the freezer. A bright, fruity cold shock. Passion fruit leaps out like the orange ice itself, sunny, juicy, a little summer uprising in the middle of January.
