I'm all for Amalfi

Amalfi Citrus almost makes my mouth water. I love the taste of limes and squeeze them over most of my meals. Amalfi Citrus reminds me of that feeling of squeezing limes, but I oddly get the same smell as I do with Tostitos Hint of Lime tortilla chips, which I also love.

This one is linear, which I'm happy about. I know what to expect from the start and I love it! I use it often while enjoying the sun, getting about six or seven hours of wear with a good amount of projection, and I'll definitely get a full bottle when my sample is up (thank you Ihwayne!).

A perfect summer scent, and named perfectly, too. The Amalfi Coast in Italy has been added to my travel list!

Pleasant and refreshing citrus

Opens with a very strong citrus. Struck me more as lemony than orange or grapefruit. Very fresh and does not smell synthetic at all. My first thought was oh, another Xerjoff Fiero. But no, as Amalfi dried down I got more of the light florals combined with the woody notes. Very pleasant and refreshing. I will definitely be adding it to my summer rotation.

I tested Amalfi Citrus on a very cold day (subzero) and was expecting poor performance. It actually wasn't that bad. Longevity was a good 6 hours with only average projection. It will certainly perform even better when I wear it in summer.

Fresh summer

I’m quite enchanted by the Signature collection of Dunhill. I have a couple of them and I have so much faith in them that I bought this one blind.

First spray.. okay this is fresh, lime, orange. Sharp freshness but non-obtrusive.

After a while this fruitiness fades and leaves a creamy, clean scent.

I can smell it myself easily for a couple of hours but people around me don’t even notice I’m wearing a fragrance. That’s a bummer but that’s also due to my skin. Ah well it gives me a good vibe and a good confidence and that’s what counts.

A unique summer perfume

I think that Amalfi Citrus deserves more attention and I'll try to give you my impressions.

The cut glass bottle: a high-quality dark gray cap with faceted diamonds on top, the clear green seductive contents underneath. Heavy and elegant in the hand, absolute top design!
The fragrance: It opens with a pleasant, powerful, enormously strong citrus note (lemon, green mandarin, bergamot), which only lasts about 15 minutes for me. Very quickly, it combines with neroli, allowing something floral and very slightly sweet to end after a while, tart and earthy with musk and vetiver.

Unfortunately, Amalfi Citrus wears off relatively quickly on me (perceptible for 4 hours), so I am constantly inclined to spray more to prolong the wonderful fragrance experience.
