Nothing Godly About This
In Roman mythology, Jupiter was the king of the gods. He ruled over the sky, wielded lightning, and was the protector of Rome. He is associated with kingship, sacrificial offerings and the one who witnesses oaths. This fragrance should embody power and feel regal. Instead, what I got was a synthetic mess that felt vintage in a bad way. At first spray, I thought of my grandma and her aldehyde bomb perfumes. Just a blast of every note, all at once, added with the undertone of plastic that she used to cover her good furniture. Sure you can pick out some of the notes trying to breakthrough and round out this fragrance. There are the florals trying to soften, smoke from the oud, wood to smooth, and spice trying to add warmth. Its all overpowered by the synthetic feel and plastic saffron.
This fragrance has good projection, but it is borderline harsh so it can be headache inducing for some. It also lasted 8 hours on my skin. This fragrance only comes in one size, 100ml for $245. There is a common theme I find with fragrances from this line, there is so much potential and then it either is wasted or a mess. Then I see what they charge and I wonder what all that money is for.
