From absolutely amazing opening to the boring dry down
This is the first Electimuss in my collection. I have tried many, but nothing has really stood out to me. This scent is a bit bland overall, but the scent is so intoxicating and addictive for the first hour that I love it and keep spraying it.

The sugary dates with the perfect spicy Cardamom smell irresistible. If Madeleine feels like roasted Chestnut, Moroccan Medjool feels somewhat roasted dates (if you could cook it in the same way). The scent is earthy thanks to Oakmoss and the sweet caramel melts perfectly around the dates. The floral heart is completely enveloped in this sweet, yet not edible, blend, but Carnation provides a spicy note, balancing the sweetness. Ylang Ylang, on the other hand, gives its own kind of sweetness to the dates and a fullness to the texture, which is not creamy at any point though. The aroma is sensual and seductive and works regardless of gender. As the scent develops, it gradually shifts towards a more masculine direction, losing its sweetness and the initial intoxicating feeling unfortunately disappears. The cashmere wood in the base makes the dry down feel synthetic and impersonal, but I really avoid that by adding scent often. The scent does last a long time, but it ends up being boring. Those who have a problem with adding scent probably won't appreciate the scent as much.

You have to spray this a lot (also on your clothes) to bring out the potential of the scent. The whole trick is in the bubble and sillage of the scent, which follows you faithfully.

I rated the fragrance based on what I get out of it in the early part of its life cycle. If I were thinking about the dry down, the rating would be lower, I would say 6. I like this much more when the weather is warm but it's a year around scent.

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked my review.

kissed by dates
creamy sweet date, wrapped in vanilla-caramel, with a great sillage. a super elegant, slightly spicy gourmand fragrance. the scent definitely has that certain something. I pre-ordered it right away after this treasure kissed my skin during the pre-testing. I can hardly wait for the fragrance to arrive.

Once to the Orient/North Africa and back
Under the date palm, the warm desert wind kisses my skin, the sweetness of saffron lingers in the air...
Sweet, warm, creamy, minimally powdery.

In the opening, perhaps too intensely sweet, but the drydown... Eyes closed, off to vacation... Great scent
Good longevity and sillage.
Not intrusive, but present.
Smells very elegant and well-groomed.

The longer I wear the fragrance, the more I like it.

Medjool Essence - Sensuality of the Orient
In the shimmering heat of a Moroccan sunset, the fragrance unfolds like a sensual mosaic:

The date, sweet and mysterious, rests in the depths, enveloped by powdery floral notes and a certain freshness, rose and jasmine that brush over the skin like desert wind. A sparkling grapefruit opening like the light hitting the golden sand.
In the depths, the fragrance embraces with amber and cashmere wood
warm, soft, seductive like the last rays of sun on the skin.
A scent like the Orient itself:
powerful yet full of poetry and history.

Oriental Freshness
I was very impressed by this scent. The date combined with the citrus notes and later the floral ones is so exciting to me. You always have both. Freshness and sweet orientalism. I don't find it too sweet. Later, it takes on a slightly masculine twist, in my opinion. I haven't smelled a fragrance like this before, but I'm not familiar with the one it's often compared to either. Overall, it's definitely something for a lovely special night out.

In the air, it's candied fruity w/ ambroxan/hedione (adjacent to BR540 EDP). On-skin, it also has spicy floral touches. Underwhelming.

Sweet dates but the rose note in this is kind of screechy, I usually don't like that because it gives me headaches, it's just not for me

As most of brand releases, forgettable. This one is too sweet, unbalanced. Try better Desert Suave or Halwa Kiss.

Great opening but after... it's a pass. I often struggle with rose and this is no exception; without that issue, I'd likely be interested.

This smells great. Leans fall/winter. Sweet, sort of fresh, the kicker is the date - smells like a real thing. Earthy sweet, sticky textured

Unique scent - different than expected. Light citrus freshness meets spices and date sweetness. Great daytime fragrance for spring.

Overwhelmingly strong, sweet rose. A bit squeaky. Searching in vain for dates.

Dishwashing duty… BR540 paired with an undefinable fruit basket that sat too long in the sun… Sweet + piercing synthetic = final boss.

A very sweet floral scent. Not my thing. Longevity is okay, sillage could be better.
