again and again. Took a whiff of the cap and I was like fun! Nice! But after spraying it on, it's your run-of-the-mill punchy fruity floral. Manyyyyyyyyy many things similar or better for the price. And just in general. I actually liked it better after it nearly wore off. But it's a cute feminine frag.

Tragic scent. Rose, molecules. Nothing. The same "quality" as Impadia and genre.
No creativity, just another luxury bramd price tag scent.
Really, even now, when releases appear one by one, this is so cheap smelling and forgettable, that just to grab attention by nice bottle and price?
The worst 2026 release till now.

To my nose, the closest match is likely Future Society Solar Canopy, though I haven't done a side-by-side comparison. The scent also feels like it could be a Delina flanker. I like it, but don't love it enough to want a full bottle. But, I can see it being very popular and understand why people might like it.

It's a juicy fruity-floral scent, with more fruit than floral. I wouldn't call it a "rose scent," per se, though there's some rose in there.

It becomes a tiny bit greener with time, which I like. But, I think there's an ingredient used to make the tart currant note here (and rhubarb in some other scents) that becomes a little too strong in the dry down for my tastes. I like both currant and rhubarb and enjoy that tartness, but the opening of this scent is more pleasant to me than its dry down. I had the same experience with Solar Canopy. Long lasting though!

I received a sample of this perfume. Whenever I receive a sample, I like to try it blind before really exploring the notes. On first wear, I really smelled heavy ambroxan and florals, and that was about it. I quite liked it because I love ambroxan notes. I was surprised to see rose featured so prominently in the notes because it is one of my least favorite notes. Trying it again, I could pick out the rose a bit, but to me, this is not a super rose-forward scent. I truly just get that heavy ambroxan/woody base with light rose on the top. I quite enjoyed trying this perfume, however, I would never pay full price for a bottle. I did get a compliment at the doctor's office on this scent. However, I believe this perfume made my eczema flare up - I was complaining to my husband about that, and he said: "It's probably that horrible perfume you've been wearing this week, I don't know what it is, but it really stinks and the whole house smells like it." So, I wouldn't necessarily consider this perfume to be a polarizing scent profile, but maybe it is? It does have great longevity and based on the compliment/criticism large sillage.

Sometimes there are fragrances that don't just smell good. They tell stories. Lust in Paradise Extrait by Ex Nihilo is exactly that kind of story for me.

When I wear it, I'm no longer standing in front of my mirror. I'm sitting on the porch of a red Swedish house. The morning sun slowly climbs over the treetops, the grass still glistens with dew, and somewhere the first bumblebees are buzzing. The air is clear, fresh, and full of promises.

The first notes spring forth as carefree as a summer day when no one looks at the clock. The fruity freshness dances with a fine spiciness, until finally the rose makes its grand entrance. But it doesn't want to shine alone. It takes jasmine by the hand, gives it space, and becomes softer, more vibrant, almost as if both blossoms are swaying together in the warm sunlight.

As the day progresses, the fragrance changes like the light over a Swedish lake. At noon, it is warm and radiant, full of lightness. By evening, everything turns more golden. The woods and musk gently lay beneath it like the last rays of sunshine dancing over the water before the sun disappears behind the birches. Nothing ends abruptly.

That's exactly what I love about this extrait. It feels like Midsummer with its endlessly bright nights and laughing people under flower crowns, and at the same time like a quiet winter evening, where the candlelight bathes the wooden house in warmth. Two seasons that could hardly be more different, yet they share this feeling of coziness. That's exactly what I find in this fragrance.

For me, Lust in Paradise Extrait is the reminder that the most beautiful moments are often the quiet ones: a sunrise with a cup of coffee on the porch, walking barefoot through the grass, the golden light of a sunset, or the cozy gathering on a long winter evening. It fits all these moments.

And perhaps that is its greatest magic: It doesn't just smell of flowers and woods. It smells of a place I want to return to again and again.

The longevity is truly phenomenal, and it garners compliments everywhere.
