Just A Rose Floraïku 2019

I don't like rose scents but this is my favorite (besides safron oud). It's a good balance between citrus and rose. The type of rose with the grapefruit makes it interesting to where they cancel out the abrasiveness of each of those scents (I also don't like grapefruit). It's more feminine than I'd wear but I would definitely wear it on a spring day if my personal preference wasn't for less floral scents.

So, in general, I'm not a big fan of the smell of roses in perfumes, because I find it far too catchy on the nose and "strong", it smells good but it saturates my sense of smell too much. It's such a heavy smell that it "crushes" me to the ground.
In this perfume, it's perfect: the scent of rose is married to citrus, transforming it into a fresh, volatile, soft rose.
It's the perfect fragrance for spring, it's soft, fresh, it corresponds well to the renewal of life and the return of fairly warm, summery days, but still retains echoes of cold weather freshness from winter.
I love this perfume, I just find it way too expensive.
