"Clean-Freshness" without Thai Oud...
I made a great swap with a lovely perfume and received Mutheer, many thanks for that :-)
The fragrance pyramid sounds very interesting: fresh, rosy with Thai oud... I'm curious... and here we go:
Mutheer starts off intensely, sweet-saffrony - almost squeaky "plastic-like" - with a touch of "swimming pool cleanliness"....
Yes, although saffron is not listed, I clearly perceive saffron and not in small amounts.... (if you don't like saffron, better stay away)... Depending on the type of saffron and its blend with the other ingredients, saffron can smell dry-spicy, sweet, "chlorine-clean," or slightly "plastic-like"... So, for my part, I like all types of saffron, which is why Mutheer has captivated me right from the first minute :-)
The "saffron start," in my opinion, lasts quite a while on me and is later accompanied by a zesty bergamot, a kind of "clean-freshness"…
After a while, I perceive fine roses gently embracing the saffron.... The saffron-bergamot-rose trio lasts quite long and well on my skin.... According to my friend, he perceives the scent very well when I "hover around him at a distance" or when he enters the room I am currently in or was in ;-)
Upon reaching the base, the scent is softly underpinned by a woody note, which I attribute to the listed "woody notes" - and not to the Thai oud... Because I somehow miss any trace of it in Mutheer... Very unfortunate....
So, Mutheer remains for several hours until it ultimately becomes tame and close to the skin...
Although I miss the Thai oud here, I find Mutheer absolutely successful, even though I would have wished for some more complexity in the base ;-)
In my opinion, Mutheer is a very feminine scent, which, when smartly dosed, is also suitable for everyday wear and the office...
