Addictive tropical scent

This is one of the most special and different summer fragrances.
You won't find anything like this beautiful scent.

scent of coconut, black pepper, violet and sandalwood, take this fragrance to tropical regions on beaches in Thailand.

Without a doubt one of the better summer fragrances ever made.

Yes, it has a drawback like most summer fragrances, the performance.
Its longevity is reasonable and nothing more and the SILLAGE is relatively weak and stays close to the skin.

Is it still worth it?
I think so and the proof of this is that I have it.

Softness and Creaminess

Santal Complet for me is a wonderfully soft fragrance.
A sandal made even creamier with coconut and violet.
Let's be clear: it has a great personality, but it gives a sense of comfort and well-being.
Meditative, relaxing, it reflects the properties of this wonderful wood.
Try it: it's really wonderful, suitable for the cooler seasons for me.
One of the sweetest paintings I know is "L’amico fedele" by Federico Zandomeneghi: what is more beautiful than holding your dog's head close to you? And give it to me: I dedicate it to my beloved dog Romeo, who gave me so much and who unfortunately is no longer here, but will always remain, like a wonderful painting, in my heart.

Awful sandalwood

This has got to be the worst sandalwood creation I've ever tried, it feels like it's trying to cash in on the fame of Santal 33 by attempting a similar sandalwood perfume but putting a twist on it. This reminds me of rotting cucumbers, the violet, sour lemon and the coconut must be what play against each other so violently; repugnant.

Overhyped and overpriced with designer performance!

I got a 2ml sample to try after Demi Rawling praised so high about it. I usually agree most of her NICHE choices (I don’t like designer fragrances). I have 5 out 10 of her choices but I cannot agree with her on the Fragrance Du Bois. I didn’t try them all, only tried a few but all of their performances don’t worth the money at all including this Santal Complet. Santal Complet is very nice scent honestly but not super unique. I had smelled something similar to this. The performance is kinda weak. Longevity about 5-6 hours and projection is weak but with its high price, doesn’t worth it. I will get it if it’s half the price. Many other brands that cost less have way better performances or more unique scents. For example: Initio, Parfum de Marly, Kilian, MFK, Roja Parfum Cologne line, Nishane, Tiziana Terenzi and many more. Don’t blind buy it unless you just want to own it no matter what. It’s not a bad fragrance but just doesn’t worth the price.

Santal Complet starts with a blast of Coconut and lemon, I am not a fan of the coconut note in fragrances but as the fragrance develops on skin the coconut note starts to loose it's power but very much detectable throughout the fragrance. Now the best part of this fragrance is when the creamy, milky and rich Sandalwood note comes alive combined with Amber and Vanilla but with the note of Coconut this fragrance will be incomplete. Overall a gorgeous tropical fragrance which will bring back those beach memories.
