Galimard Etappe 7

Again a women's fragrance from the test set. Described here as floral-sweet, I find it rather floral-fruity, the sweet component is much less prominent here. So far, this one is my favorite among the women's fragrances, a beautiful bouquet with a fruity note, decent longevity and sillage, clearly feminine, but nothing sticky, heavy, or powdery. Friendly and suitable for everyday wear, with a lovely drydown. I find it uplifting.

Elegant and Suitable for Everyday Use

I don’t understand why Solenzara is rated so poorly here. Personally, I like it a lot. The top note isn’t really my favorite - the blackcurrant bothers me - but the heart accord of lavender, orange blossom, and jasmine is a tried-and-true crowd-pleaser. It can also be found in YSL Libre, with which Solenzara has a strong resemblance. The base is rather woody and only slightly sweet. Overall, the fragrance is elegant and more unisex. It has good longevity and is suitable for the office.

One special feature is that Galimard sells its fragrances very affordably in EDT, EDP, and parfum concentrations. Galimard is a centuries-old perfume house from the traditional town of Grasse. They sell the fragrances through their own website. There, you can also obtain samples very cheaply (12 times 2 ml for 3 euros including shipping).
