A moder cologne
Cologne water has a beautiful story behind it: invented by Giovanni Paolo Feminis, and born as a decoction with the name of Aqua Admirabilis, to "cure and soothe all ailments", it was exported to Germany, in Cologne, and then used as a perfume ,initially by soldiers returning from war.
Among the admirers and large consumers of Eau de Cologne of the time were also Napoleon Bonaparte: it is said that he used at least four liters of it a week, both for perfume and as a medicine.
And here the concept of this type of fragrance, a milestone of perfumery, remains, even if modernized. Citrus accents, initially fresh and sour, are accompanied and made very pleasant by the amber notes.
Let's say that that masculine undertone is there, but wow, on a woman it is truly seductive.
A woman in a tuxedo, wearing a fascinating red lipstick.
“Painting of Orsino and Viola” by Frederick Richard Pickersgill, where Viola, who has to wear men's clothes, does not lose her sensuality.
