Rosso Rubino Giardini di Toscana

I absolutely love this perfume, it's my favourite from the house (I tried them all).
It opens very citrusy and fresh, and then dries down to the most beautiful sweet, a bit fruity-floral spicy sexy fragrance with the most ADDICTIVE cacao note; but also perfect for daily wear.

It reminds me of a luxurious hotel hall with velvet couches, but when I smell it I often imagine a man with very cool style (maybe a thrifted sweater) and a very charismatic and attractive personality.

It's a very versatile fragrance, It's fresh and likeable enough for daily wear, but also has that sexy aspect that shines in nights out. Imo it's perfect for any season and I feel like it's one of those fragrances that really shines with time as it evolves on your skin. 10/10!

Also the Projection and Sillage on this is crazy, on par with Bianco Latte. Longevity too is great.

I was expecting way worse going with this one, but it wasn't that bad. Definitely not something I'll be adding to my collection since the first hour is a rollercoaster of notes vying for attention, but the score it currently has (6.6/10 at the time of this review) is not entirely warranted.

Beginning is made up of fleeting and gentle citrus fruits. These are soon overwhelmed by the arrival of a sturdy, dark, slightly powdery, earthy cocoa. It's giving masculine vibes to my nose. Paired with wild fruits, this gives the scent a fruity, slightly sour and bitter tinge. Smells like a non-gourmand dark chocolate bar with a sprinkle of dried wild fruits. There's also a weird freshness underneath it all that turns it synthetic. Rose is nonexistent to my nose as the coca takes a good portion of the spotlight at the moment. I do have to applaud the drydown though. It smells like a refined, sophisticated scent of pink pepper and patchouli with a touch of warm, coziness. It's spicy and earthy, but maintains an air of elegance. The drydown blurs the line between masculine and feminine, bringing the fragrance back to unisex territory.

Might have gotten a lower note if it wasn't for the drydown honestly. The top and middle notes clashed together and something wasn't quite right although I cannot point out what the problem was. Won't be going in my collection, but it was nice to test it out!

This is a truly interesting and particular fragrance: citrus fruits support strong and important, earthy, woody notes.
Strong, decisive , but I would really enjoy wearing it.
It takes me back to the beautiful image of a knight, who mixes the sweetness of his beauty with the hardness of his soul, with the virility of his image.
