A spark of love
“Even a spark sheds light”
This fragrance plays easily with me: a fruity opening quickly leaves space to one of my favorite combinations: Iris and violet, made even softer by a barely noticeable jasmine, very pleasant.
The result is a creamy, soft and sensual fragrance.
So,did this spark fly? Definitely yes .

When drydown becomes a highlight
After the first spray, I notice a slightly sweet and herbal scent (like the faded memory of licorice).
The herbal impression intensifies over the next few hours (I'm guessing the mixture of pepper and the various flowers?). Unfortunately, I don't particularly like this fragrance on paper or on my skin.

The big "but" for me comes after about 5-6 hours. The herbal notes then fade completely. What remains is the scent of a soft aftershave (just like my father's as a child). Can also be compared to a much softer, weaker version of Baccarat Rouge (here I am really only referring to the "drydown" aspect of BR). Ambroxan in more subtle and far less artificial.

The sillage is rather restrained. I sprayed carefully during the skin test (as even a few sprays can have an almost overpowering effect with some fragrances), and after about 4 hours I only perceive the fragrance close to the skin.
The longevity itself, on the other hand, is good, after about 8 hours I can still perceive the fragrance (close to the skin). A plus for me at this point, as I don't want to have a fragrance permanently in my nose, but prefer a little "whiff" every now and then.

If Scintilla only consisted of the last "aftershave" part, it would be perfect for me.

Mostly synthetic to my nose, I smell no fruit, no sweetness. Just synthetic accords and a bit of violet and iris, making it a bit powdery

Fresh clean shampoo type of scent, its nice, pleasant and a bit generic, while still somewhat unique. Hard to explain lol, I like it it's OK I guess
