Not a simple color

Indigo is not simply a color. It is also an emotion, full of meanings, perhaps one of the least considered shades but essential, as it is a color of the rainbow.

Beautiful almond and frangipani mix

Let's continue with the Giardini di Toscana brand. A great brand that I have already reported on Bianco Latte and Borabora. This Blu Indaco is my favorite from this brand. I can recommend the Discovery set as this brand offers 13 samples at a fair price. Especially fans of creamy fragrances will get their money's worth as this perfumer Silvia Martinelli seems to like these creamy musky notes. Even if the fragrances are rather unknown except for Bianco Latte, the scents are worthwhile if you like these clean and sweet notes. With this Blu Indaco, you also get a great sweet mix that can also be worn in warmer temperatures. Of course, the frangipani is also responsible for this, as this floral note is somewhat tropical and summery and creates a summery mood. This sweet almond-vanilla combination is also not just designed for cold temperatures. Once again, the white bottle matches this clean fragrance. A great unisex fragrance that may be too clean or sweet for some men.

This white bottle with its beautiful wooden lid is also impressive. Provides a great taster and looks great in a niche collection. The price of this fragrance is quite reasonable, although this brand is unfortunately not available on any "bargain sites". But it is affordable by niche standards.
The fragrance opens with a lot of frangipani, which already has a slight tropical vibe. This floral-creamy note is accompanied by citrusy bergamot, which adds a little freshness. Almond is clearly the star of this creation and takes on the leading role. This almond note is not very heavy, as we know it from many autumn-winter creations. Here, this creation is roughly comparable to Infusion d'Amande. However, this great tropical note with frangipani gives this creation its own twist. Vanilla and clean musk are also very present and convince with a sensual sweetness. Ambroxan freshness is also convincing and provides this great woody freshness. Overall, very uncomplicated despite the sweetness and easy to wear even in warmer temperatures. The white bottle also fits quite well as it is quite clean with this sensual almond note and the creamy frangipani. Very harmonious and convincing.
Performance is also quite good with at least 8 hours of longevity and a medium to good sillage that is also quite suitable for summer. Can be used well in everyday life.

Overall, a great almond frangipani fragrance that already seems quite sensual thanks to this great almond note. Well worth it.

I am standing at a friend's...

... I watch a pastry chef in his bakery as he bakes a creamy cake from almonds, vanilla and lemon. He also adds various spices. When the cake is ready, the pastry chef invites me to have a coffee with the fresh cake. It is simply delicious. He has baked a little masterpiece that you can eat in both summer and winter.

When applying this fragrance, the first thing you get is a citrusy freshness with a slight sweetness and the spiciness of pepper. This is soon joined by almonds and vanilla, the musk (which is not in the fragrance pyramid here, but is in others) makes this perfume creamy and reminiscent of a lemon tart. The ambroxan adds a woody warmth. Muscenone makes the fragrance even creamier.

Longevity and silage are very good.

Here we have a unisex fragrance that I see as a 20+ fragrance, I don't think it's right for the very young, but everyone should wear what they want. This sweet citrusy creamy fragrance is nice to wear on both cold and warm days. For me, it is also an all-rounder that can be worn at university, in the office, in your free time, but also in the evening in a club, in a bar, at a meal or at a party. Sylvia Martinelli has created something special with this fragrance.

If you like to wear a sweet creamy gourmand almond vanilla citrus fragrance, this is something great for a reasonable price for a niche perfume.

Floating on an almond-vanilla-citrus cloud 7

I didn't have this fragrance on my radar at all and it hit me unexpectedly like a thunderbolt. Sure, everyone and their grandma knows Bianco Latte now. Sometimes you've even heard of other Giardini fragrances, like Celeste or Borabora. But this one? Never heard of it.
I was in Bruges over Pentecost and visited a nice niche perfumery there (shoutout to Chocres in Bruges, 100% recommended). There were some Giardini di Toscana fragrances on display, so I tested them out.
As I browsed through the other fragrances, the scent of my right wrist kept wafting towards me: Fluffy, creamy, a soft almond and vanilla combo brightened up with a tangy citrus. It was Blu Indaco, which I simply sprayed on myself because I didn't know it yet.
The end of the story: I left the store unexpectedly with this fragrance in my bag. Normally, I would test a fragrance for days and weeks beforehand. Risky, but so far no regrets: the fragrance is very suitable for everyday wear, not overpowering and pleasant, so I've worn it almost every day so far.

If you like creamy vanilla/mandel scents that aren't too sweet and edible, this is the one for you. Sometimes it even reminds me a little of a fine baby powder (there is supposed to be a separate audience for this). It also goes in the direction of almond milk body lotion.

Longevity and sillage are decent, not quite as strong as other GdT fragrances, but still very present for the first few hours.

Anyway, an absolute surprise for me and the whole time I just wonder why nobody talks about this beautiful fragrance?
