Celeste Giardini di Toscana

Celeste is such a beautiful fragrance. Originally I bought the sample set for Bianco Latte, but that turned minty on my skin.
When I sampled Celeste I fell in love.
The first spray is full of violets, but sweet candied violets, mixed with vanilla.
When it settles down it slowly transforms into the most beautiful vanilla caramel scent. Kind of what I hoped Bianco Latte would have been.
I love how it starts floral and transforms into a more vanilla caramel gourmand-ish scent.
I started by thinking this would be a lovely spring scent due to the violets. But I have tested during the winter at it works very well as a winter perfume. I will be using it in fall, winter and spring.
There is no doubt that the dry down feels kinda similar to Bianco Latte and lucky for me this one works magic with my skin.
It says with you the whole day - I get 8-10 hours - more on clothes. It projects well without being nuclear.

If you want to smell like violet garnished, raspberry gelato by the sea you’ll love this.

If any one note in the combination salt, lime, violet, berries and vanilla cream sounds polarizing… move along, she’s not for you.

I don’t know if the branding quite coalesces with the vibe. I struggle to connect the moon with a flowery fruity dessert. That small critique aside I wear this when I want to be invigorated by the combination of salt, lime and fruit. The creaminess anchors the top notes & really radiates in the dry down. On my skin the violet is so candied the florals become a supporting role for the fruit. This is a great, warmer weather appropriate alternative to Bianco latte. Especially if you enjoy the brightness of florals, fruit + citrus & don’t mind a light aquatic/ salinity.

That being said Celeste performs and projects beautifully. My daughter loves it and my partner complimented it on both her and myself.

It’s a polarizing scent because it’s complex & those expecting just violets and cream will be unhappy. Think the fruity, sweet, sourness of a raspberry lime gelato layered with vanilla custard & eaten on a salt soaked boardwalk!

Being Bianco Latte the star of the show, we often forget to mention this gem from the Giardini di Toscana house.
Celeste is a fragrance that focuses on violet, a sweet sugary one. This makes a person like me love it, even if I wouldn't have thought it could be possible: I usually tend to associate this note with grandma scents, like Guerlain's Insolence for instance.
In Celeste I found a happy and younger declination of violets plus a plastic feeling that, oddly enough, I find attractive rather than repulsing.
In the end I had to get a bottle!

unique scent experience that i’m struggling to put into words. it’s a very “light” vanilla, like the one u find in vanilla wafers. but it’s not sugary sweet. it’s balanced out by the lime and something magical(and powdery? i want to say glittery). both tantalizing and nausea inducing. it’s a must try

Celeste is a wonderful fragrance.
Finding yourself in front of a lake, admiring the landscape full of wonderful flowers.
Slightly aquatic, with iris and violet that give powdery accents sweetened by vanilla, not too cloying.
Beautiful, ethereal, heavenly.
