Emporio Armani - Stronger With You Leather Giorgio Armani 2020

50% Stronger with you Intenselly, 35% Stronger Absolutely (chestnut note), 15% leather. This is how we can summarize this Stronger Leather, a supposed special edition launched exclusively for the Arab market to compete with native perfumes.

In my opinion, the missing link between Stronger Intensely and Stronger Absolutely to make it a perfume with a certain versatility, some maturity without leaving the gourmand but clearly insufficient to compare with the beasts of Arab perfumery, not even against Lataffa.

In Europe it would be a perfume with good hype but I doubt it will get many sales in Arabia.

Georgio Armani & the Stronger With You line, has a very specific DNA. If you've ever worn the original or even 'STW' absolutely/ intensely, you know the DNA im talking about. The sweet, almost boozy smelling, delicious, gourmand like scent.

This scent is exactly that but the Elemi Resin & leather really are what bring that packed punch to this scent. This isn't a typical leather scent, the leather is very much on the outsides looking in. But this scent is gorgeous, women love & it last a long time. A good 8 hours on the shirt & will project for a good 2-3 hours. You might still smell it on your cloths the next day.

It's a night time scent, as I believe everyone agrees, all the stronger with you line is. A date night scent or even a night out. Very easy to wear, & can be worn most times of the year, when its colder. Probably easier to wear though in the colder months & chilly nights. I dnt think this a summer scent, but u can wear it in summer. Just dont have to spray on much!

So, I will start saying that I owned an Acqua di Gió EDT which was purchased in 2006 and it was madly powerful and something to tell your kids about.

Armani, could do back in the day quite powerhouses in terms of scent and for affordable-ish prices.

Fast forward 15 years .. and the product policy of the brand seems to be : "release a ton of flankers and hope one will catch".

If we look close to the line-up of Giorgio Armani / Empori Armani scents, there is a lot of noise but nothing to tell your kids about, mainly soulless flankers which will dissapear as quick as they appeared.

SWY Leather, because it´s so exclusive, will not be tried by many in order to say .. yeah, I know what you mean or I understand where you are coming from. On Notino there are now both this one and Oud available and still nobody buys them, on good ground.

This one here was a big dissapointment for me, because if you name a perfume "Leather" you should also make it leathery and strong, not just add a hint of leather in the background.

With many nonsense creations like these, I am not sure we will still have to talk about Armani Beauty in the next years, to be honest.

This one doesn’t project anywhere nearly as loud as the intensely version, but it has a great scent, especially on the drydown. The sweetness is still there, and you can detect the SWY dna, and I really like what they did with this.

It’s got a more “mature” or “professional” feeling vibe, and it really works well. A “sweet suede” note that grows sweeter and sweeter as it sits on the skin and matures.

The scent bubble projects to a good 3ft radius, and the sillage trail you leave behind sits there nicely throughout the 8+ hour performance.

You have to work to find this one, but if you can indeed find it, it’s worth a look. I’m waiting for the “oud” version in the mail as well… THAT’S how much I love this line.

For me, a huge surprise, the SWY with more power and more pronounced.
At first, you get a good wave of leather and I can still smell Oud + resin, which becomes softer and rounder. A very elegant leather note, not too strong, just at the beginning and already after about 15 minutes very soft.
In the end, you can also notice the typical SWY Intense, I would say, rather very little of the SWY. The vanilla note is already quite strong here and lasts a long time.
You could probably achieve the scent with 30% Obre Leather and 70% SWY, that's how it sometimes comes across to me.
Overall, a really beautiful fragrance and anyone who likes sweet leather scents (+ drops of Oud/resin) will find this just right. Simply genius, but probably not available everywhere.
