Candy Licorice
This is so candy like gourmand..
It has great silage...i get a crispy lemon and sweet licorice at the opening which turns more candy-sweet at heart but still retains the green character !
Fresh ,sweet ,powdery stays for long time then it gets musky and a bit dark and mysterious (smoky tea )...
Yes, i agree this is not a Guerlain's we usually know..
I think it's pretty ,playful careless candy-like gourmand ,not for official occasions but for a date or romantic dinner or a Saturday night out..

The Young Lady from a Good Family
The "Little Black Dress" starts on my skin for a very brief moment (it's really only seconds) powdery, light, airy, and somewhat citrus-cherry.

This scent moment (quite lovely but indeed far too short) gives way to a new note, it becomes softer and enveloped in warm powderiness.

A warm, light almond-cherry powder, not overly sweet, it has a certain refined elegance to it and is, in my opinion, perfectly tailored for the very young lady, almost still girlish.

If I were 15 again, I would surely want this fragrance, especially since the wonderful Guerlain quality shines through in this version of "Robe Noire" despite all its childlike playfulness.
Her charm and innocent naivety are skillfully brought to the fore without being diminished by overly sweet accents.
Sweet, flirtatious with a cheeky glance, the young lady from a good family, that's how I imagine the wearer. At a ball for the first time and indeed in double form in the "Little Black Dress".

All in all, a beautiful fragrance that I can really only envision as "up to 18". A noble teen fragrance with subtle cherry-almond-marzipan nuances in a lightly smoky powder.

It's a pity that the Robe Noire now comes in an exaggerated, overly sweet, and intrusive version like Katzenberger as a re-release. I don't know which fashion trend Guerlain wanted to jump on with that.

The sillage of PRN2009 is rather subdued and the longevity is also very discreet, but I find that fitting for young ladies.

You grow out of some things.
My first "Little Black Dress" was my confirmation dress. The fabric was elegant, figure-hugging, and I already had something like a figure to show off, short, with a flared skirt and a matching short jacket. It was occasionally taken to the theater afterwards, and with my first pumps, I felt very grown-up in it.

Let's be honest. While the cut matters, a little black dress only looks nice on very young women. Later, it appears serious, and even later, it makes one look old. And this fragrance is also made for young women: A bit flirtatious without being cheeky, the elegance comes from the noble ingredients, and yet La Petit Robe Noir does not feel mature. It is very skillfully composed. Incorporating a smoky note into a fragrance for young women is quite risky. But it fits perfectly, as it prevents the perfume from becoming girlishly pink. It truly is a little black dress.

La Petit Robe Noir is a delightful, refined fragrance. But today, for occasions where I would have chosen such a garment in the past, I prefer bright red.

A Late Jab at Gabrielle?
Madame Chanel, first name Gabrielle, nickname Coco, basically invented the "little black dress" in 1926. So why a fragrance from Guerlain with this name?
I dare to say it's because Gabi was right, and "the little black dress" never goes out of style. Perhaps Guerlain also wishes for a new timeless classic, a "little black dress" translated into the olfactory.
Does the fragrance come under suspicion of being a "little black dress" of the art of perfumery?
The first impression counts. And that is quite modern, gourmand, sweet-almondy with LPRN. How does the heart of the fragrance look? The heart is also ideal for the young, fashion-conscious clientele, smoky yet still cozy-sweet, with subtle support from a rosy floral note.
The essence of the fragrance and the base are sweet-cozy; I even sense a hint of licorice, but that could be wishful thinking.
Does LPRN fulfill the desires of the fashionista?
Yes.
Will it be a long-lasting hit?
Nowadays, nothing is as constant as change, but the fragrance has the potential to be a modern classic for the young woman.
Is it a typical Guerlain fragrance in terms of originality and quality?
Yes and yes.
I already love the bottle, the Mitsouko shape in a fashionable outfit, purple-black, slightly retro.
Exactly my thing.
And I love the fragrance too.

The original flutter dress from 2009 was softer, blacker, a bit longer, not quite as flirty, but maybe more stylish.

10 years of LPRN! Yatagan is the reason I compared this scent again with the new versions - a whole different world. Niche!

That was the 1st version, back when it wasn't mainstream. Rich and gourmand in a good way. Then came the dilution-dilution.

The new Guerlains seem to lack creativity. Musk and vanilla. Quite synthetic and overpowering. A bit of licorice in the opening.
Well.

Super sweet and at the same time deep. Reminds me of a sophisticated woman. Combined with another scent, a seductive cocktail.
