Oudh Imperial Henry Jacques Pure Perfume

I’ve been lucky to get my hands on this beauty. It comes in 2nd behind HJ Bonjour for Men in terms of my taste. When first sprayed the scent is light with low sillage and projection. But something incredible happens and the scent starts to evolve revealing the beautiful ingredients like vanilla, amber, and Oud that form the crux of its powerful scent. From here on, the scent has strong sillage and longevity. This is one of my top scents of all time. I was only able to obtain 4x10ml bottles.

This is probably the best Oud fragrance I have ever smelled. And HJ dares to take a risk by not making any concessions to any sensitivities with the Oud. The Oud used here is quite animalistic and stands out clearly. It is caressed and consistently supported by the other notes, which in a fabulous way do not draw too much attention to themselves. Only the leather is more pronounced, which should be the case given the name component "Imperial," without distracting too much from the Oud.

A dream of a fragrance, which should be the case considering the selling price of 75 to 90 € per milliliter. Anyone wanting to order the 30 ml bottle from Harrods should hurry, as they only have one left. And before hurrying, please have approximately 2,215 € ready.
