A Really Beautiful Fragrance
Many thanks to Sören for the sample of Ambre Cuir de HJ Extrait de Parfum :-) I am once again very impressed in the end. Henry Jacques delivers as usual, and this fragrance has truly caught my attention. The longevity is successful at around 8 to 10 hours, and the sillage is quite acceptable.
The top note starts floral but also somewhat creamy-powdery with aromas of orange blossoms, lavender, and rose geraniums. The heart note continues to smell floral with iris, neroli, and violets. In the background, there is a subtle spiciness thanks to coriander seeds. The base is rather subtle but really beautiful and amber-like with a fine leatheriness. I can't detect any smoky aromas here.
This fragrance is truly beautiful, elegant, and comes across as quite luxurious. Unfortunately, this is also reflected in the price. The perfume is unisex for me and suitable for almost any occasion.
