A really beautiful fragrance
Many thanks to Sören for the bottling of Ambre Cuir de HJ Extrait de Parfum :-) In the end, I am once again very enthusiastic. Henry Jacques delivers as usual and this fragrance really caught me. The longevity is successful with around 8 to 10 hours and the sillage is fine so far.
The top note starts floral but also somewhat creamy-powdery with aromas of orange blossom, lavender and rose geranium. The heart note continues with a floral scent of iris, neroli, iris and violet. In the background, it smells subtly spicy thanks to coriander seeds. The base is rather subtle but really beautiful and ambery with a fine leatheriness. However, I cannot detect any smoky aromas here.
This fragrance is truly beautiful, elegant and also comes across as quite luxurious. This is (unfortunately) also reflected in the price. For me, the perfume is unisex and suitable for pretty much any occasion.
