Perfume fit for a woodland fairy

Sweet pea, honeysuckle, Mirabelle plum, freesia – the notes list reads like a perfume made for a twelve-year-old woodland fairy. True to form, the perfume starts off as a tender-hearted floral, with a soft fruitiness that broadcasts ‘youth’ without straying into flashiness.

Things take an unexpected turn, however, when a rather adult creaminess rolls in to support the florals in the rump, an exquisite combination of jasmine, vanilla, and sandalwood that smells like one of those old-fashioned, boozy egg creams you get at a retro diner. Not a perfume for a nymph after all, but for women with deep bosoms, zero thigh gap, and serious sexual intent.

A fun Fruity/Floral with Jasmine and Vanilla leading the way!

Yasminale is another stunning fixture in the Henry Jacques Les Classiques lineup. The scent profile revolves around jasmine. The initial phase is fruity, with sweet pea and honeysuckle leading the charge. Shortly thereafter, a naturally sweet and warm jasmine joins the party with a honeyed broom note providing support in the background. Scrumptious vanilla and warm sandalwood round out the journey. The end result is a very sweet, fun and slightly bold perfume.

Yasminale really shines in the warmer weather but it can be worn all year round. The perfume oil provides good longevity but stays close to skin. I am in love!

Yum, yum, yum

Wowzer, this one is a 'killer'! it is a dreamy divine float and a melange of delicious plum, topped with sweet pea and other floral, whilst the creamy sandalwood and iris gives it the base which lasts and lasts. Another hit from HJ.
