subtle salty-green mango garden, always good - even in the hair
My review essentially matches that of the regular Un Jardin sur le Nil Eau de Toilette, but after I also got the hair perfume for fun, I find, as described in other statements, that this fresh citrus is indeed a bit more present. In the hair, it actually lasts well and longer, as it is airy and not directly on the skin (cooler).

SUMMARY
Nice, subtle, calming salty/green citrus/mango scent after about 15 minutes. Quite unisex.

LONG BLAHBLAH
Un Jardin sur le Nil takes a moment to reveal itself. First, there’s a wonderful freshness. After about 15 minutes, this nice, subtle, salty-green citrus/mango scent emerges. Calming, uncomplicated, quite unisex.
Similar to Eau de Basilic Pourpre from the same house: subtle, discreet, pleasant, not a big statement. Hermès clearly understands this quiet, understated thing here and there. The slightly salty note gives it a unique character that sets it apart from the usual citrus freshies and provides a bit of "Nile (hippo) feeling" (meant absolutely positively).
Not overwhelming, not boring. Just nice and calming. For days when you want to smell calm, fresh, and green without anyone asking "what are you wearing?" or anything else.

The bottle is relatively nicely made, but nothing special. The sprayer is okay to good, the cap is relatively cheap plastic (looks much higher quality in the photo).

Longevity and sillage are, for me, good and as expected for an EdT.

List price is not okay, street prices are okay to good for today’s standards.

CONCLUSION
Subtle, calming salty-green citrus/mango scent. Nice, unisex, uncomplicated. Quiet Hermès elegance.

Subtle salty-green citrus/mango scent, even better & longer in the hair. Citrus is a bit more present. Soft Hermès elegance, also for the hair.

Smells like the EdT, maybe a little more citrusy, but we're talking about nuances here. Longevity on hair is surprisingly good!
