Obviously my original commentary was too sharp for this format, so now the *censored* light version for the general public ;-)

Imagine my dear cavalier, you have to late hour in a club *beep* with a femme fatale sur la toilette. Mais oui, c'est extra-ordinaire! That's what NdI smells like. Something dirty, spicy, sweaty and after *censored* leather. Maybe a little *peep* and snythetic, but what if it bothers you? - Yeah, it's probably pretty *censored*! But just because of this very attractive and seductive. Like a fresh grapefruit, for example, to which the women curiously show their *piep* in long, wild club nights, when going out or on *piep* dates! In addition, there is some vetiver, dark woods and incense, which give the whole thing something dark, hypnotic and somehow stylish. This combination of ready, *censored* and stylish is very attractive. Above this massive wall of scent is unmistakably smeared with red lipstick "I *piepe* you" - Of course you are not serious and nobody really believes you - But nobody is interested in that either, because they find you and your strong scent chord simply irresistible! Nuit d`Issey.
Certainly no fragrance for all days - But surely one for one night - Its intense, heavy sillage is unmistakable even with a lot of headwind in the club. Dominant. With extremely long-lasting effect at least 6 hours on the body and perceptible until the morning after, pepper.
I like it very much and it is one of my favourite scents. Can therefore not fully understand the bad reviews. Just recommend to test it and get your own picture.

The soft version of Nuit d'Issey EdT

The Nuit d'Issey EdT is one of my absolute favourite fragrances. I was accordingly excited to see how the perfume version smells.

The main difference for my nose is that the EdT opens up "shriller" and more citric than the EdP, which smells softer and more harmonious from the start. Interestingly, the whole thing turns around in the further course: After a few hours, the initial freshness has almost disappeared in the EdT, while in the EdP it is even noticeable the next day(!). Then, however, it is less of a citric nature, but reminds a little of anise.

Which is better? It's hard to say. The EdT looks more unadapted and individual. However, the EdP has an elegance that the EdT does not have.

When you look at an eau de parfum in a specialist shop, the young, rather ignorant lady usually comes and explains that the concentration here is much higher than with an eau de toilette, and that is why it is or must last much longer than a conventional ordinary fragrance.
Sometimes that's true, mostly not.
The names of what perfume is now or extreme or intense is owed much more to the design and the appropriate name than to the truth.
Many "brand" their products only according to their own feelings. Concentration plays no or almost no role here. There are so many fragrances that have some superfluous additive in their name and are even weaker than the original. Unfortunately, this one too.
Apart from the strong wood note, it is somewhat weaker than the nuit without parfang scribble.
The first Nuit had a greater endurance as it was seasoned with more incense.

With this one one knew admittedly that one must bring a second Flanker, but how exactly one wanted to proceed, was somewhat unclear. This ambiguity lasted to the end.
As an absolute supporter of Sisheido and the Miyake products, I am somewhat resigned.
Why didn't they just keep the incense here and intensify the starch?
It's no use that way. This is a missed opportunity.
Here you can see how helplessness and lack of ideas leads to emptiness with a product.
After a while, the fragrance is even weaker than the normal Nuit, because it lacks the long-lasting freshness of vetiver.

Not enough for a parachute. For an eau de toilette there is already the first Nuit.
Just next to it is also over.

Nevertheless, Sisheido Group can boast many very good products. I'm sure the new Leau super majeure will be a success, albeit here with an incredibly unfortunate name.

If not, I've been taught a better lesson once again.

Spicy, leathery, still-sweet and still-fresh darker take on the EDT

Issey Miyake Nuit d’Issey Parfum is the 2015 flanker to the 2014 original Nuit EDT, still a mix of spices, leather, florals, and slight sweet, but less fresh and bright than the EDT, much darker and smoother. Interestingly, the EDT could be more of a daytime fragrance and the Parfum is a more truly apt nighttime fragrance than the EDT, but both are fairly agreeable and versatile while still being interesting. I’d certainly be more inclined to wear the EDT than the Parfum in warmer weather specifically, though even the Parfum could work on a summer night, I’d wager.

Note-wise, Nuit d’Issey Parfum includes grapefruit, pink pepper, leather, vanilla, tonka, and patchouli, a strong mix of notes to yield a balanced, pleasing fragrance, and I’m glad to say that it works out. And even though it’s darker and smoother and more night/winter-appropriate than the EDT, the Parfum is still fairly fresh and invigorating.

Overall, it’s solid duo and unusually affordable on FragranceNet, at about $28 for 75ml, not quite as inexpensive as the EDT but still quite an outstanding deal.

nuit d'issey Parfum

i have to say hands up this is one of the best fragrances out of the house of issey miyake. love this one and its elegant. the patcholui and tonka bean absolute is mixed perfectly with grapefruit and pink pepper. i would recommend others to purchase this scent. the sillage is good and will get pentration. lastly its great scent. love it
