Really acceptable for the price-performance ratio
Today I opted for the slightly lower price segment,
and I am surprised to find that especially the longevity is qualitatively
highly rated. Much more exclusive fragrances have
long since faded, yet Jacques Battini's black lasts.
My criticism: The scent note is quite synthetic and at the same time
unfortunately nothing special. After a while, it smells more like
a better laundry detergent. Unfortunately, this fragrance also lacks
the power that was clearly prevalent in the 90s. So one can unfortunately
say that the little water is "unfortunately" very contemporary, ... like everything
in today's time, with the motto "Just don't stand out".
To smell good at the gym... or just for daily
use, Jacques - Crystal Edition is sufficient.
For conferences in the business world, it is simply too insignificant.
A fragrance that "stands out" would be New West by Aramis, which
of course is in a different price range.
Conclusion:
Nice, doesn't offend, rather fresh and clear, synthetic, a bit boring,
but lasts long and initially smells intense.
