Iris Gris' surrealist cousin.

If someone is a beginner in the fragrance world and they don't have a lot of references, especially in the niche world, then they probably only have a few iris-centric perfumes to compare this one to. It's nothing at all like Dior Homme and its facsimiles and is devoid of any lipstick iris.

Trimerous, meaning three, is a nod to the three petals of an iris flower. This composition starts off with buttery orris, you can imagine yourself prancing through a field of clouds when wearing this. You get a peppery, rootiness from the angelica, and herbal accents from thyme.

A very sheer suede enters the fray as well, but just as soon as you get that the entire composition jumps dimensions into a pool of nectarine juice! Tart peachy tones carry you along for the rest of the journey, it's juicy and refreshing.

night root bloom

It's definitely "about" orris. It has all the powderiness you'd expect, but it is very clearly from the earth, and very root-like. I've never smelled fresh orris root, but I imagine it's very close to this. It's mostly dead-on linear, and it's complex enough where I don't mind at all. I adore wearing it at night--not to go out, but chilling at home or outside somewhere where the breeze is cool and the moon is out.
I am curious if anyone wears this as a daily signature scent. I couldn't do so, but there's a mood for which only this will do.
(Closest family member to me is Serge Lutens Iris Silver Mist)

Gorgeous gorgeous whole foods baddie

This one took me for a ride, and I liked it. The opening is very dry and papery, very carroty and slightly savoury. An iris mirepoix if you will. It’s also slightly leathery and just barely tart and juicy from an inconspicuous fruit. I thought it was interesting here but maybe a bit too savoury to be something I’d reach for frequently. I felt like I smelled like an elevated soup base and I pictured it being well-suited to a person who only eats whole foods.

But oh my god, it becomes so luxurious, buttery and smooth after about an hour and I was in love. It’s like whipped carrot and iris butter, it has a slight sweetness in the way that a carrot is naturally sweet, it’s almost giving carrot cake but still is a bit savoury and sueded. After 2 hours I smell the vanilla more. It’s really really pretty, iris suede and vanilla musk. Sometimes I think I’m not an iris person but then something like this comes along and has me wondering if I know myself at all. The deeper dry down gets a little more powdery rather than buttery. The scent lasted about 5-6 hours on me, and I was smelling my wrist like a fiend the whole time.

Powdery but spiky

This is quite nice. There’s an interesting juxtaposition between the powdery, cool iris and something kind of spikey. I kept wondering if there was black pepper in it but it’s not a listed note. I get what people are saying about it not being an everyday wear and that it isn’t particularly comfortable, the sort of thing I’d love to smell on someone else in passing but wouldn’t maybe want to wear for a full day.

Refined Dior homme

Very nice iris perfume, powdery and with make Up and Lipstick aroma. It is very similar to Dior homme intense and to givwnchi gentleman Edp but more natural. However It is also lighter and I think the performance is a bit worse.
The fragrance is very Well blended and smells very very good. It is a creamy and buttery iris perfect for everyday use It even ti be worn as an Office fragrance. I think It is totally unisex. Recommended for those Who are looking for a refined versión of Dior homme, or those Who down not like the new 2020 versión of the Dior perfume.
