Who had the fruit salad?
First Lady was included as a goodie with an ordered bottle here from the souk; the opportunity for me to test something completely outside my preferences.
Right after the first spray, I find myself in the middle of a huge bowl of fruit salad: oranges, pears, melons, and lemons. Would this taste good together? I can't say, but as a fragrance, this combination is not particularly successful. Especially the orange (or tangerine?) comes across very sharp and citrusy; it almost tightens my oral mucosa. There seems to be a bit of coconut in there as well, making this cocktail...let's say: an acquired taste.
This fruit mishmash stays like this for a while; there's no trace of jasmine or even ylang, which I actually like.
After what I estimate to be a good hour, the citrus sharpness is softened by something sweetly soft, probably the vanilla. I could also swear I catch a hint of cinnamon, which is not listed...yes, yes, there is definitely some cinnamon in there. This remains until the fragrance fades; personally, I didn't notice any floral accords or even musk.
As for the sillage, I would classify FL as a skin scent; the fragrance doesn't project very far. The longevity is also not particularly good; after about 4 hours, I can hardly perceive anything of the perfume.
Conclusion: Even lovers of fruity perfumes should test this one first; the composition is simply not particularly successful.
