Typical Home Shopping!
Well, the fragrance pyramid sounds very good and the scents from the Deluxe line by Judith Williams are all not bad, but this one doesn't stand out at all. It's a bit of Magic Tonka, a bit of Sun, and is almost identical to Frederic Haldimann's Mon Amour. It lacks a bit of the sweet cotton candy in the base. Moreover, Frederic's scent lasts better. Ms. Williams draws from the treasure chest of perfumer Pierre Bourdon. Unfortunately, it seems too many are using his formulas or have used them. It slowly seems like the ideas are running out. I was really shocked when I sprayed the tester. No, I didn't want something that is so similar or alike, and certainly not something I already have. I was actually quite angry at first.
Now, I used to wear the scent Mon Amour very happily; at its time, it was sensationally great. Therefore, I shouldn't really write badly about this fragrance. It starts off very spicy, and you can clearly smell the cinnamon. It also develops very warm and powdery. Actually a beautiful oriental scent, more for winter, but for me, it's not quite, but almost an identical copy. By the way, Mr. Haldimann also worked with Pierre Bourdon, maybe that's why, I don't know. In any case, I hardly smell any musk, and that's the theme of the fragrance. I had something different in mind for an intense musk scent. The longevity is quite good for a home shopping fragrance, but in hindsight, rather mediocre. I find the price, considering it’s only 50 ml, excessive, especially since there’s also a Spirit scent, also by Pierre Bourdon, that smells similar and costs only 5 euros, so something seems off.
I feel somewhat cheated as a customer, and that's why it went back!
