Requiem for a midsummer's night dream
You wake up after a night of lucid dreaming where Rhianna doesn't turn you down and allows you to smell her farts. You remark to yourself that you never gave your bed the credit it deserves as it always takes care of you when it's time to have a chat with Mr. Sandman. After you stretch, you get up and notice neither your pet lion or US senator are in neither of their beds, so you go to walk outside and suffer a slight cut in your palm; you forgot to tell your slave to replace the missing diamond in your doorknob, so that's an extra beheading you have to look after.

You're annoyed as hell already and you've only been up 10 minutes, only to discover one of the members of your harem has the audacity to be menstruating; welp, another beheading you think to yourself. And to top that off, your wife asks you to give her some cunnilingus for her birthday, and you tearfully remind her that eating pussy is Haram, as you say your goodbyes as she pleads not to be sent to the gulags, you tell her what must be done will be done. As your life is falling into shambles, You open the patio doors and gaze upon the beauty of the seemingly endless amount of poppy seeds being harvested by your imported contractors *cough slaves cough*, and think you know what, times aren't so tough.

You later find yourself unwinding by sipping on a 300 year old congac crafted by the descendants of Blackbeard, after a long day of ordering 30 beheadings and the death of the infadels.
Turath finally wears off, and then I'm transported back to reality where I'm just living a normal existence, no stable of whores, no opulence, no fields of poppy to turn into opiates to fund my acts of terrorism; just normalcy.

Heritage
Turath, heritage: heritage inherited from the past.
This is what the fragrance wants to convey: the wealth and millennia-old culture of the Middle East.
Starting with the packaging, in which we notice in the foreground a representation of a traditional tapestry with gold inlays where Bedouins are depicted playing and entertaining themselves while eating dried fruits and smoking from a hookah.
Fruity and floral scents are, therefore, the protagonists of the fragrance.
In the background, however, we also find a slight smoky sensation that does not fall into the simple smoky/burnt and breaks up the fruity sweetness a bit.
This is a very rich fragrance with a very broad pyramid of notes: this makes its evolution quite dynamic as with each "sniff" some nuances are perceived rather than others.

Complex masterpiece
Turath exudes an aura of opulence and Middle Eastern influences. Despite the multitude of notes present, the perfumer skillfully achieved a harmonious balance. With its fruity, spicy, sweet, and woody accords, it is simply divine. This fragrance is undeniably distinctive and far from ordinary. Its longevity is unparalleled, lasting a remarkable 12+ hours with a powerful projection for the initial 3-4 hours. Prepare to make a statement and captivate any room you enter . A personal favorite of mine, I have already indulged in my second bottle. Perfect for the fall/winter season, its intensity is unmatched.

Exciting, unique, and super strong - oriental niche at its best
For me, Turath is the discovery of the last year. For a long time, I searched for an Oud fragrance that is strong yet unobtrusive and stands out from the typical Oud Rose combination. Turath is exactly that fragrance that shows that even complex scents with many ingredients can be super wearable and suitable for everyday use.

Looking at the fragrance pyramid initially overwhelms one with the sheer amount of scent accords. Fruity, ambery, floral, gourmand, it somehow has everything and seems randomly thrown together. According to the manufacturer, the inspiration for the fragrance comes from Arabic cuisine and combines local specialties into an olfactory delight. Does this incredible abundance of ingredients work? In my opinion, definitely yes.

The scent profile has a very warm base, primarily strengthened by the dry Oud (similar to an Ombre Nomade). The fruity additions provide an exciting presence and bring a certain depth that catapults the fragrance to its own level of complexity. However, individual ingredients can only be detected to a limited extent by my nose, as the incredible craftsmanship has perfectly blended the accords into a whole, creating a round, homogeneous scent image. The fragrance is, surprisingly, relatively linear and remains quite constant throughout its development. Only the fruity top notes fade a bit, and it becomes a little warmer in the dry down.

The longevity and sillage of the fragrance are extraordinarily strong throughout its entire development, and in a good way. When I first applied the fragrance as a sample, I didn't initially notice that more was coming from the manufacturer samples than I thought. This led me to spray about 1 ml of the fragrance, which of course is way too much. The scent was completely overwhelming, but strangely enough, it was super pleasant for me all day and had no disturbing elements - for me, a sign of great quality. The strong longevity described above is, of course, also present with a normal spraying routine ;)

In my opinion, the bottle and packaging are a double-edged sword. The overall design and first impression are great, and I particularly like the motif on the bottle. However, upon closer inspection, one realizes that something "intentionally" luxurious has been created here. The cap is a bit wobbly and light, the packaging is made of somewhat cheaper cardboard, etc. Nothing that screams super craftsmanship, but all in all, very creative and absolutely sufficient.

Someone like me, who is not the biggest fan of Oud or Oud-Rose, finds in Turath a wonderful and very wearable alternative to the well-known evergreens. For me, Turath is a fantastic niche fragrance experience where everything is right: price, quality, uniqueness, and a super versatile and exciting scent. I emptied the sample so quickly (of course, also due to the "accident" :D) that I had to have the fragrance in my collection immediately and now wear it with great pleasure. An absolute recommendation from my side for this fantastic oriental gem.

The probably easiest entry into the upscale oriental world....
Hello everyone,

there are many fragrance houses in almost every price range/segment that create oriental scents, and to be honest - over 80% can be forgotten immediately (unfortunately).

Because those are too synthetically disturbing/unpleasant and come off as cheap, and that brings us to the next point. To appeal to as broad an audience as possible, they are very inexpensive (really cheap). So one can say that they are veeeery synthetic. I know there are some who don't find this bad at all, but I’m out at a certain point.

Certainly, there are also EO which is probably the spearhead, along with their prices, but that’s another topic.

Of course, there is also NABEEL, which has consistently delivered very, very good performance for many years! Quality/oils 1a, bottles 1a, packaging usually incredibly good, development/acords, H/S more than 1a.

And the "Dubai - Turath | Nabeel" is exactly that, and if you know the prices of the house, it is still one of the cheaper ones, but I’ll say right away "it is worth it"!

H/S INSANE!

With its slightly fruity opening with dried fruits, the candied fruits make it pleasant, and as usual with the company, each scent has xx fragrance notes and accords. Really top! And in the drydown, it becomes really pleasing (nice).

Can I say something negative?

Not really - I could only wear it in a cool season, as the performance is really impressively good, even when used discreetly (2x - 3x).

For the oriental and upscale direction, it is, in my opinion, one of the best options to get to know something like this!

If I really weren’t convinced, I wouldn’t recommend it to you!
(Try it out - provided you like this kind of thing!)

And now have a nice day/evening or whenever you read this review, best regards, Benny

Almost as complex as the absurd notes listing suggests. Fruity, rosy, ambery and more. Bipolar transition in the dry down.

Huuuge amount of different notes, to smell like a common potpourri sweet-woody-fruity with standard quality, a huge pass.

Classic oriental style but very wearable. Spicy and dark fruity touches.

Initially juicy spicy-fruity sweet, a rather dusty and smoky/leathery oriental spicy-woody fragrance, with a warm earthy resinous-woody base

Versatile, easy to like first. Fruits+min amount of Oud R great w/ all ambery notes. Smooth blend but starts to feel too heavy even 4 me.

Maybe the best from the cheapest line. Nice! Very synthetic, but at least complex and well blended. Pass for me.

pening similar to Widian Sahara, it then develops into a salted caramel note reminiscent of Nishane Tero, accompanied by earthy notes.

Sweet rose, woody-balsamic base w/ mild Jubi25-styled fruity oriental hints. Blend quality isn't *that* great. Olfactory fatigue hits fast.

A shapeshifting magic carpet ride over fields of fruits, blooming flowers, and campfires in forests, sprinkling Bazaar spices everywhere.

Complex scent - on my skin leather comes on top surrounded by spices - I do not get fruits.
