Beautifully made but unfortunately the fragrance hardly performs
I actually find the Lalique to be quite a pleasing and pleasant fragrance. To my surprise, the fragrance only lasts about 4 to 5 hours on my skin with a correspondingly weak sillage.
The top note starts off sweet, fruity and jammy with aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, stewed pears and some raspberries. This is followed by slightly greenish and leafy notes. The heart note smells like a mixture of soap, flowers and fabric softener. I recognize rose water, tuberose, freesia and jasmine blossom. Iris and violet provide a beautiful powderiness. I don't really recognize the base notes listed in the fragrance pyramid. The fragrance then runs out of power.
Unfortunately, I will have to part with my vintage miniature as my collection has become too large, even if the Lalique is by no means unsuccessful.
