Oud, Oud and More Oud
This fragrance starts off with full force - almost a slap in the face. The Oud is immediately in the foreground and feels heavy, almost overwhelming in this expression. To my nose, it lacks balance; the intensity overshadows everything else that is supposed to be present according to the pyramid.

Unfortunately, there is hardly any trace of the promised fruity notes. If they are present, they are completely lost under the massive wave of Oud. As a result, the impression remains one-dimensional.

The longevity is undoubtedly strong - once applied, it remains present for a long time. The sillage is also pronounced and quickly makes it clear that this fragrance does not want to stay in the background.

In summary, it is a composition that aims for maximum presence but lacks nuances and finesse. Those who enjoy Oud in its most uncompromising form may find this appealing - for everyone else, it is likely to feel too heavy and unbalanced.

If you like sweet scents, you'll search in vain here!
Having smelled quite a few "Oriental fragrances," I can confirm this with my own nose. Many of the Middle Eastern representatives have a rather sweet base pattern. They don't necessarily have to be attars or "locohoums." There are spice bombs with a lot of honey in tow, fruity-sweet scents with "cotton candy," and floral-sweet fragrances crafted to perfection. Those who enjoy such scents will find little to appreciate in "Iconic Oudh." It lacks any of these "sweeteners."
It is a combination of dark roses, juicy, tart fruits, and slightly "animalic" rough agarwood (oudh). Of course, there is that fine "barn note" that not everyone likes, but it suits the perfume extremely well. And it is something for "purists" who prefer a manageable list of ingredients. This manages to appear complex without overwhelming the good "detectability" of the individual components. Additionally, it has a mysterious aura that subtly surrounds the wearer when applied in moderation. Carefully dosed: WONDERFUL! ;-))

Rosen Oud Araber
Starts very strong with roses. After a while, however, it becomes a long-lasting, dry woody scent. It has that typical hairspray note at the beginning, as is often the case. I like it very much. Another hidden gem from Lataffa. Give it a try!

Rose-wood! Without a hint of sweetness! Fine and rough create a dark & mysterious vibe. Delicate "barn note" included. Classy with character!!

Similar to "Oud Mood | Lattafa / لطافة", but without the chocolate note and more animalic.

The scent hits you from the first spray.
I don't find the oud here pleasant at all. The fruity notes are nonexistent.

Bought this as my first Oud fragrance blind for 12 euros. Only convinced on the second try. Smells soapy at first. The rose is very prominent.
