Compliment magnet
- Dupe of Boss Bottled Absolu with a twist of Sauvage Elixir
- If you have already Asad ….YOU STILL NEED ASAD ELIXIR. It is absolutely different parfume. Yes it is still spicy but for me there is a huge difference.
- This is by far my most complimented fragrance of my collection. Everybody asks me where to buy it and get it. I start even thinking if i should buy the original Boss Bottled Absolu .
- About the sillage is mid , BUT longevity it’s a different story. You can check my other reviews and you understand how difficult is for me to give a good score about longevity / sillage. Sillage is around 7 , but MAN…. Longevity is like 9 - 9,5. It is at the same level of Interlude Man (about longevity NOT silage)
- I can smell it 7-10 days later on my jacket
- Downside DO NOT spray on your jacket.Otherwise you will not be able to use your other fragrances because Asad elixir will block their scent and you feel only Asad elixir.
If you have problem with longevity you have either bad batch or it’s fake. This thing is strong

Wow this is bad
This has some kind of fake vanilla smell like a candle from bed Bath and beyond it’s just very cloying and childish like something eight-year-old would wear
I’m kind of bummed because I kind of like a sod and some other ones by this house but this one is just so funny and so fake and thick. It’s like one dimensional literally it’s just a vanilla candle and that’s it. I’m not gonna wait a couple months to see if it changes. I’m just sending it back
Wow, I just can’t believe the reviews online are just so fake
I will say when I put my nose like right onto my skin I do smell a little bit of the frankincense and patchouli, but it’s basically a skin consent for me and that’s after like 15 sprays

A more luxurious ASAD
I bought this fragrance because a lot of reviews said it was NOT like the original Asad. I got my bottle, and sprayed (5 times). Asad is DEFINITELY there. I am not hating. I was not a big fan of the original Asad. Everyone said the original was a smoother version of Sauvage Elixir. But, I found it to be harsher, and a bit too "herbal". Asad Elixir, gets rid of that harsh herbal nature of the OG. I definitely enjoy the Elixir more than the OG. But, it has ALOT of similarity to the OG. The dry-down is where it really smooths out, and the scent develops into the more luxurious scent that the Elixir has over the OG Asad. The addition of more tobacco and vanilla add a new element to this fragrance that I found were missing in Asad, and Sauvage Elixir.

I am a firm believer that an elixir does not need to be harsh to have the aromatic qualities of an Elixir fragrance. Many brands seem to think that an Elixir flanker means that it should smell like an herbs cabinet in an Italian Mom's kitchen, mixed with harsh peppers, and weird metallics. This is simply not the case. Asad Elixir got it right.

The herbs, and the aromatic nature are there. But, then a round smooth base allows the aromatic nature of this fragance to waft into your nose welcomely, instead of bursting your nasal cavities open, and assaulting them with an overload of harsh, sharp, bitter aromas. This is the scent of a TRUE gentleman. I would say, even if you have the OG Asad, the Elixir is needed in your collection. Wear the OG, if you will be outside, where the fragrance can dilute in the air around you, before it forces its way into the noses of those around you. Wear the Elixir, if you want someone to get close to you, and welcome the scent of you, as the lean closer, and closer.... You're welcome ;-)

Stunning Recreation of Absolu
As a preface, I own and love Bottled Absolu, and I should mention that I feel like Lattafa is one of those companies that really misses the mark far more often than not. There have been very few of their creations that have truly impressed me, and I have tried dozens and dozens. This also has absolutely nothing to do with the original Asad besides sharing a name and bottle design. I tried this recently at a local fragrance shop. I had heard of it prior and I knew it was inspired by BBA. I had rather low expectations, but I was actually blown away by how good they did.

The opening is very sweet, dense, extremely high quality smelling. It is similar to BBA but much sweeter. I did not detect any off-putting synthetic notes, which are usually apparent even in Lattafa's best offerings on initial spray. The dry down starts a couple minutes in it becomes almost indistinguishable from Bottled Absolu, maybe a bit airier, more less dense, but the notes are all present and balanced.

Longevity seems very good at over 9 hours on skin, with 2-3 sprays, with strong projection in the first 2-3 hours, gradually receding closer to the skin and finishing off as a pleasant skin scent for the last few hours. The performance is not as good as BBA, which is to be expected as BBA honestly has beast performance for being a designer release. But, at this price you can afford to give a few extra sprays. It's also possible that the Lattafa's performance will increase over time as it matures with air in the bottle.

I think this is an absolute triumph as I wouldn't be able to tell them apart, you just need couple extra sprays of the AE compared to BBA to get similar performance.

It's crazy that you can buy this for around $30 shipped to your door. This is honestly Lattafa operating at the top of their game.

Blind Buy ... You can't go wrong at this price
Everything has been said!
I can't imagine anyone saying "No, I don't like it" about this scent :)
An all-rounder, sweet, exciting, and simply sexy
At this price for the quality, it's just brutal ...
I'm also not a fan of what some people write here ...

Strong synthetic opening. Not impressed so far—disappointing. I’ll retry and rejudge.

As someone who have BBA this is not a direct clone, its fresher more vanillique and spicey sweet an easier to wear version better then asad

Well-rounded and smooth on the drydown. A smooth, mature scent.

The Boss Bottle is better but for a bang for your buck its still good and worth it

Gone through a bottle of Absolu last winter. Not sure I will buy it again. This ticks all the same boxes. Longevity a bit worse, but good!

Definitely Boss Bottled Absolu in the kitschy plastic bottle. Unfortunately, it falls apart a bit too quickly into a sweet, bland base.

Sauvage Elixir opening with a much sweeter Boss Bottled Absolu dry down

Doesn't come close to BB Absolut at all. I also find Sauvage Elixir nicer. The drydown is very synthetic.

Dark, spicy, sweet, yet still sophisticated. One of the best in this line. Clear parallels to Boss Bottled Absolu.
