Finally I have you, you signature scent
The Paragon is my first serious fragrance love. After testing several times, I got me the bottle. I have also dedicated a worthy review to him, which you can also read under the said fragrance. But here it is about the Vintage Radio , a fragrance I saw by chance as similar to the Paragon here on Parfumo.
I would have to test him of course as a very cheap variant and bought him immediately as a blind buy. And what can I say: of all things, the few small shortcomings that I could attribute to the Initio child, the Lattafa fixes in all perfection, namely the lightness and the weak sillage of the expensive fragrance. But even if it is, I do not necessarily want to compare both fragrances but describe this sweetheart as he is. Whether it is a twin to the more expensive fragrance, I am not able to judge.
The fragrance starts wonderfully fruity-creamy, which fruit does not open up to me. The opening is a bit bitingly powdery, but the powderiness settles pretty quickly and the creaminess radiates with all its power. The sandalwood base also comes out pretty directly, as the good wood doesn't seem to want to wait until everyone is ready. After that, the scent remains relatively linear, perceptible without further surprises for hours, and by that I really mean many hours. Just gorgeous, present, radiantly beautiful fruity-creamy and pretty on your face...
Due to the strong volume of the fruit and the woods, I can not smell the lavender, which I find a pity. For this you have a solid fragrance, which roughly smelled the Paragon very similar. Alone the killer performance and the unbeatable price make this fragrance a perfect everyday fragrance, if you like the scent direction fruit cocktail + a ton of cream and want to smell fancy unique.
For me, this is the everyday version of this rare fragrance. Very present, beautiful, strong sillage, keeps really bomb, with a spritz it drowns out all other existing residual fragrances that try to still adhere to my clothes or hair from earlier fragrance application.... In vain... The Vintage Radio is loud, creamy and beautiful. Just the way I like it.
I find the fragrance to be rather feminine. In addition, I do not smell at all this typical oriental powderiness, which I often find in Arabic fragrance manufacturers. That was my fear that the Vintage Radio also carries this DNA, which I have so often in many other Lattafa fragrances. But nope, this fragrance is absolutely "jasmine" free for me. Nothing against jasmine, but I already have so many fragrances that contain this jasmine powdery DNA, I'm happy about every fragrance that comes without this characteristic.
I wear it every day now. To work, to shopping, during the week everywhere.... My beautiful (and expensive) fragrance collection I leave for evenings, weekends or whenever I want to smell different or more expensive.
For those who already love the Paragon , like me, a great simple alternative. However, if you want to savor this deep, mysterious and expensive aura of the fragrance as its own advantage, then he will be disappointed. My secret tip: Simply both fragrances on the shelf for the appropriate occasions to have always ready
All those who like it fruity-creamy, could also dare a blind purchase. For all those who still do not dare, there is also the souk, simply wonderful A tester it is worth at most
I hope to have helped you with my review in the purchase decision, insbesondes for the Paragon lovers faction here on this beautifully scented Parfumo page
Best regards
