Woody Musk Fragrance

I own musk fragrances in many different directions, Musc de Samarkand is my woody musk. I fall in love anew every time I wear it and enjoy being pleasantly scented. I don't detect vanilla, but it probably makes the fragrance as pleasing as it is - never too much, even worth trying for those hesitant about musk. It slightly reminds me of Etro Musk.

The only downside for me: it fades too quickly. However, for this price, you can certainly reapply more often.

Musk

Musc Samarkand is a beautiful fragrance, but there is a note in the opening that I really don't like; I think it's musk. The musk stands out a lot with a slight sweetness. Unfortunately, it develops too slowly; after 2 hours, the sharp note is gone and it becomes powdery, but I don't want to wait that long for the fragrance to develop.

Babymusk

A very delicate musk scent that initially reminds me a bit of Night Musk by Avon, with a certain fresh opening note. Woods don't come through for me, but the vanilla complements the inherent sweetness of the musk quite well.
A sweet, very light fragrance that doesn't project too far. No comparison to the very intense Musc Bleu Osmo by Il Profumi.
I only give it 70% because I generally don't like musk scents. This one I could tolerate.

Spicy Musk

Musc de Samarcand is, for me, a fine, spicy musk fragrance. There isn't much to say about it. In the base, it becomes beautifully powdery, simply a great long-lasting scent. It will definitely be added to my collection.
