Stunning sweet floral, but so weak on me
From the Lush x Community limited edition release, Tender Is The Night is a beautiful white/yellow floral-vanilla scent in all its sweet but still indolic glory.
Tbh, I know jasmine is the main accord/note in this, but I got a lot of ylang-ylang as well, mixed with the vanilla. The scent is very soft and soothing, and I think it’s aptly named because it definitely gives bedtime vibes. It has a sensuality to it that Lush scents usually give me, but in the most *tender* (see what I did there HAHA) way. It’s kind of narcotic, but still gentle and very feminine.
As someone who prefers stronger scents, this one was too soft for me. Even with over spraying and spraying on clothes, I couldn’t detect it after 5-6 hours, which is surprising cause most Lush scents I own are nuclear (even the body sprays!) I decluttered mine unfortunately because it this, although, I think it may be better for the spring. I wasn’t going to wait around to try it then, but I think if you come across it for a good price, it’s worth buying and trying.
