Less Than Notable
It's a mildly pleasant fragrance, Amber and Sandalwood somewhat prominent, a suggestion of Jasmine, but it's really nothing to write home about. It vaguely reminds me of the far more captivating Bogue's MEM, but this is something the woman who wears MEM would give away to her maid. Well, perhaps that's too harsh. In fairness, this does sit on the skin like a kid glove--soft, elegant, but not in style anymore, really.

Fine, finer, the finest white amber
Wow, a powdery soft bright embracing cloud welcomes me. Very delicate and fine perfume with the highest quality ingredients. This is a gentle amber, not the dusty-dry type that one finds in many other fragrances. I also find the jasmine here very bright - like a freshly tied bridal bouquet on a spring morning. The flower heads are just beginning to open their petals to greet the day, releasing a delicate scent trail. Everything is perfectly underlaid with very good sandalwood, but here too, it is more of a whispered scent kiss than a stormy embrace. A very restrained, elegant, and finely English perfume - lady-like. Fruity notes I perceive, if at all, only briefly in the first 15 minutes - after that, it is just a hint. Less is more, and yet this noble scent remains particularly memorable. It develops excellently after about 1 hour - feminine, bright with a soft halo. The price for this fine spirit is around 330 euros, already a very high price segment, something for connoisseurs. A gentle embrace ....

Bridal Bouquet
"White Amber" by Creed is an almost virginal bright, white jasmine perfume. Not clean, but pure. Unfortunately, I still have a bit of a war with jasmine, even when it is as exquisite as it is here.

Floral, flowery, floral-mantic. It can be annoying, it can be enchanting. It doesn't get much simpler, nor clearer in its vision and execution. But at least it feels extremely high-quality and has the typical Creed DNA. It will never outshine the company's bestsellers ("Love In White" + "Love in Black"), as the price is simply too outrageous, but on its own, detached from money and competition (and my personal aversion to jasmine), the scent can indeed delight. Classy sandalwood makes it even creamier. A hit for every beach wedding. But mostly also quite boring and characterless. One must admit that. If you sniff really deeply, you might catch a minimal animalistic, sweaty side through the benzoin (and the flip side of the jasmine). But that could also be imagination or anticipation for the (wedding) night after the party...

Bottle: Creed always goes big here - but it works. And it looks royal.
Sillage: less than discreet. It doesn't steal any bride's show.
Longevity: not super long, but there are far more short-lived Creeds... 6-7 hours max. Then it's time to reapply.

Conclusion: "White Amber" is more of a "Black Jasmine"?! But what does the name of a perfume say about the scent these days... Very clean, very delicate, very floral. Soft and cuddly. Personally, jasmine just annoys me really quickly. As so often. And quite a lot!

Radiant white describes it well: bright, fruity, elegant-creamy, sweet, without being overwhelming, woody. Just don't expect any amber.

The Jasmine King goes to war. And wins mercilessly!
The woody subjects fight their way forward, only to perish in the fruit puree :-(

Creamy light scent, clouds of various fragrances surround you. But amber? Doesn't matter, elegant + creamy-synthetic!

Mr. Creed-
Did you get up with the wrong nose?
Nothing amber & only a hint of benzoin in the base.
Musty jasmine/wood.
It gets nicer over time!

Behaves fresh, a classic-floral potpourri with a creamy, subtly sweet base. Quite elegant, but not a must-have.

Dressed in a delicate, sensual cloud. Lasts long, more skin-close. Well-groomed, clean, freshly lotioned, clean. Subtly fruity. Hint of vanilla.
