"Chanel Allure" in Italian Style - la dolce vita
In my nose, a particularly likable representative from the Body Splash line by Marc Jacobs! In its structure, this fragrance shows clear hints of "Allure" by Chanel, both the men's and women's versions. However, while Chanel clearly demonstrates the ambition to honor the name of the great Coco, resulting in very structured scents with a strictly classical architecture, Biscotti radiates an effortless Dolce Vita nonchalance.

And that is exactly what I love about this fragrance: It is not pretentious; rather, its elegance feels so natural that it doesn't lose anything when it makes an appearance at the Venezia ice cream café in the pedestrian zone. The focus is on bittersweet notes (Bergamot à la "Earl Grey" says hello!), a mix of floral and spicy, neither distinctly fresh nor oriental, but simply a woody fougère scent.

The price-performance ratio is really very pleasant!

fluffy vanilla crescent for layering
Biscotti is from the Marc Jacobs series with fragrances that, according to the perfume expert, are meant for layering. According to the statement from the perfume expert, you should be able to "enhance" any fragrance with it and thus add a special note.

In my opinion, the longevity and intensity of these fragrances are not particularly good, but that's generally okay, as the idea is to accentuate another scent. Since you have to spray quite generously to achieve success, these enormous bottle sizes were probably chosen.

Biscotti smells to me like a sweet, fluffy vanilla crescent. Really delicious. I couldn't perceive any development of the scent, but that's not necessary for the intended purpose, as the "base fragrance" should ideally bring everything else along.

Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly what the expert combined Biscotti with, but the result was impressive (I believe it was Chloe Signature?).

A really nice toy. I would have liked to buy a small bottle, but since there were only huge buckets available, I reluctantly passed, so I wouldn't have to combine everything with crescent scent for the next few months or even years...

Still - delicious :-)
