A sweet, easy reach for springtime and summer
I am on a mission to collect all of the Daisy perfumes from Marc Jacobs (except the ones that have notes that I don't like). I decided to buy this one blind, because I like fig but have been looking for the perfect fig scent to replace my old favourite, Italian Summer Fig by The Body Shop (sadly, no longer available).
This is not the perfect fig fragrance, because the fig is barely detectable at first spray, and pretty much gone at the dry down. However, this is sweet, fruity and a little fresh. It's certainly pleasant, the way all Marc Jacobs Daisy perfumes are. It's nothing groundbreaking, nothing exciting or even interesting, but it is comfortable and sweet and feminine. And sometimes, that's what I want.
It doesn't really bother me that no notes are discernable. It's got that fruity sweetness that I adore, and I'm excited to continue collecting my Daisys.
