Blooming Jasmine

~ Inspiration ~
Having already enjoyed "Sexy Amber," I received a sample of "Glam Jasmine."

~ Bottle ~
The rectangular, elongated shape with a golden plate has been retained. The name and brand are written in gold letters at the bottom of the bottle, which gives it a slight glamour factor despite its simple design!

~ Scent ~
Here, lush jasmine blossoms clearly take center stage. They are kept in check by black currants, not too sweet and without becoming sharply sour. Sandalwood provides a warm supporting base.

~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts very well for about 7-8 hours (even longer on clothing and hair). A moderate application is advisable, as it is quite intense and can otherwise become overwhelming.

~ Occasion ~
A clean jasmine perfume that can be worn well during the day in spring and autumn (even to the office).

~ Conclusion ~
While I can also note a similarity to "Yves Rocher - Tendre Jasmin," I much prefer this floral scent by Michael Kors :)

At first, jasmine is perceived, enchanting me completely with its freshness and clarity. The blackcurrant, which elegantly stays in the background, softens the dominance of the jasmine. The sandalwood perfects the fragrance with its elegance and warmth. An all-around feel-good scent for jasmine lovers.

- Result -
It is definitely not a boring fragrance! On the contrary. For me, it reveals itself as a true addiction. Although I don't actually like jasmine, this perfume continually seduces me to spray it on.

Jasmine

Today I tested Glam Jasmine on my skin.....after having sniffed it on a test strip recently. Just a quick spritz of Glam Jasmine and back outside. Right from the start, I am almost overwhelmed by a deep, full cloud of jasmine.....I feel transported to a sultry evening by the Aegean.....where I sit on a terrace that is completely entwined with jasmine......everywhere white blossoms, their scent wafting to me with a gentle breeze. And although jasmine only releases its fragrance in the evening (at night), Glam Jasmine is also wearable during the day. Because after about half an hour, I can still smell the jasmine on my skin, but the heaviness of the jasmine has given way to a pure, clean jasmine scent. The blackcurrant tames the wild jasmine but doesn’t manage to come to the forefront......and that’s a good thing ;-) because what remains is a very feminine, clean jasmine. Yes, and I also search in vain for the sandalwood.....or rather, it is simply not present.....at least not on my skin. Whether I like the scent.....I still don’t know.....I will probably test it again.....but one thing must be acknowledged.....it lasts and lasts and lasts....

For a Moment Full of Bliss...

Hmmm, how long does it last now?
I read here in the previous comments about long-lasting wear for many, many hours...
So let me start from the beginning. I tested "Glam Jasmine" the day before yesterday during a pleasant stroll through the city at the perfume shop, meaning I generously sprayed both of my forearms. The scent is really very appealing, and initially smells full and strong of jasmine, a bit of underbrush, and subtle spiciness. Exactly my type! When I asked whether it was more of a light fragrance, the nice perfume saleswoman with her lovely Russian accent said that the scent was even "too much" for her in the summer. Well, I thought to myself, because I am a poor fragrance wearer and I appreciate strong scents that might last a bit longer on me.
When I was then rummaging through the "summer reading" in the bookstore, it was still somewhat noticeable, remaining consistently attractive. About an hour later, after I had enjoyed a light lunch, the scent was almost gone. How can that be? It was so strong at first?
I was very disappointed because I really like the scent. I think it is definitely something for women 40+ and is really beautifully floral without being sweet in the slightest.
I think I will test it again tomorrow - and if I still like it as much, I will buy it anyway. Wait and see.

Jasmine with Memories

I have been searching for a jasmine scent that evokes my memories from the past for a while now. Unfortunately, all the ones I have tested so far were not what I was looking for. Either they smelled not only of jasmine but also of many other things, or they faded too quickly. The first wow experience I had was with Montale's Jasmine Full. Amazing scent, but for me personally, it was a bit too much. So I temporarily gave up the search, but a few days ago, I suddenly smelled a jasmine fragrance that felt so familiar to me. So I followed the lady and asked what fragrance she was wearing. Her answer was Michael Kors Glam Jasmine. I quickly thanked her and ordered it at home right away. When it arrived, I tried it immediately. The first sniff after a few seconds was disappointing; I smelled blackcurrant and sandalwood, and only subtly my beloved jasmine. A bit disappointed, I waited 10 minutes, and suddenly I began to perceive my jasmine more and more and could hardly detach myself from my wrist. It smelled just like my kindergarten teacher and my mom used to smell. My mother also confirmed that the scent was very similar to her perfume oil from back in the day.
As for the fragrance, at first, I personally smell everything but hardly any jasmine; with a bit of time, however, you can almost only smell the jasmine and the sandalwood is minimal. You have to like jasmine, but it is a delicate jasmine scent and not comparable to the fragrance bomb from Montale.
A beautifully floral, not overpowering scent. Somehow I see a woman in front of me wearing a playful white summer dress, running across a flower meadow, her hair loose or very loosely pinned up. Although the woman comes across as so playful, she has an incredible presence. All in all, a great fragrance with repurchase potential.
