High class under the radar !!!
The theme of Russian Leather was extremely well implemented. It opens with a green natural smelling leather, it is not dirty or rustic which smells very pleasant and intense. I would say the leather plays here a good 50% and the rest is balanced split. It seems very slightly cool and dark towards the coniferous forest, and is not fresh or dry. You can smell out all the notes, the lavender fits in excellently but I'm personally not a fan of it. It keeps its woody and slightly peppery character until the end, and doesn't go through any development during that time. Russian Leather drives straight only one track! Towards the end, he becomes slightly ambroxan artig and more does not happen there ...
Small minus: The performance could have been bischen better but still is completely in the green area.
My conclusion: I found it very strange that such a good fragrance is completely unknown, High-class smells and and flies under the radar !
Molton Brown Russian Leather is on the one hand a bad boy fragrance, on the other hand also very elegant and natural smelling without Schnick Schnack !
People who are looking for a green leathery / woody fragrance without an oud and patchouli note will come fully at their expense !!! A blind buy he is worth ;)) Thumbs up for the Russian friend ;))
