Nice addition to the Legend collection

Out of the Legend collection, I started with Legend EdP which I like very much. Next was Legend Spirit, which didn't do much for me. Didn't know what to expect with Legend Blue but was pleasantly surprised. It's a really nice addition to the Legend Collection. Smooth and clean masculine fragrance.The mint freshens it up but it's subtle, not overpowering. If you don't care for strong mints, or worry about it smelling like toothpaste, you have nothing to fear with Legend Blue. Woody notes are well blended and smooth, not sharp. Also strikes me as very versatile - you can pretty much wear this anytime of the year, day or night. An easy reach fragrance.

To give you an idea on what it smells like, I did a little experiment by comparing it to Legend EDP and Dylan Blue. Legend EDP has stronger woody notes which are subdued and smoother in Legend Blue. In direct comparison, Dylan Blue is sweeter and more floral while Legend Blue is not as sweet and more fruity than floral.

Projection was moderate for me but longevity was quite good - got about 7 hours out of it. Overall, very nice. I'm picking this one up. Prices are reasonable at discounters.

Everyone Will Probably Like It

In fact, I approached this fragrance with low expectations.
Montblanc is not my favorite brand.
Aside from "Legend Night | Montblanc," I don't really like any scent from the brand.
However, Legend Blue pleasantly surprised me.
Take the regular Legend Eau de Toilette as a base and add a good dose of freshness and "blue."
It sounds unremarkable, but it makes a noticeable difference.
Nothing here feels cheap.
Somehow, there is just the right balance that I would say: It appeals to every man and every woman.
Maybe it's not the biggest hit, but you will still smell pleasant.
Longevity and projection are also decent, so you can easily get through a workday.
Definitely worth recommending, even as a gift.

For what it is - one of the best!

Montblanc has made its Explorer its Aventus clone and with the Legend line has also made some other popular brands affordable for many.

The Legend Blue now goes fully in the fresh direction and has - at least to my knowledge - no direct 1:1 inspiration.

The Legend Blue is one for the really hot days, for me the definition of a Freshy. A perfume couldn't smell more like typical shower gel.

Completely without typical citrus notes, the cool and synthetic bubble blows directly into your face. It becomes minimally sweet, minimally spicy, but maintains its light core throughout. Absolutely not complex or with a special progression, straightforwardly fresh without fruit.

Since there is no significant base in terms of woods, it doesn't last very long - but that's hardly achievable with this DNA.

You can't overspray this one and you can't go wrong with it at all.

In this price segment and for what it is supposed to deliver: incredibly good.

The adult brother of Legend Spirit

After Legend Spirit was my relaxed all-rounder, I wanted to test the new brother.

Bottle is known, unobtrusive, practical with a usable spray.

Freshly applied, it smells like just showered. For me, it's a bit less biting than Legend Spirit and therefore a bit lighter and more casual.

It is the first and so far the only fragrance that I like to apply directly after showering with a spritz. Whether for the sofa, housework, or just a quick outing, warm or cold, sporty or sophisticated - this scent fits strikingly unobtrusively every time.

It’s not a head-turner, but it won't disturb anyone either.

The longevity for me right after showering is about 6 hours, leaving a pleasant trace on skin and clothing for a good day. Especially on the scarf, I really like it for its warm note.

Anyone who wants to smell rounded and fresh is doing everything right here at any age.

In my eyes, once again a successful everyday classic from the house of Mont Blanc.
