complex, pretty citrus

Website lists the notes as: yuzu, lotus blossom, jasmine, olibanum and bright, radiant green notes. This is a lovely light citrus with hints of something floral, not the typical aquatic you might expect from the name. It is surprisingly long-lasting as well - I'm in a pleasant little cloud of it 10-12 hours after putting it on! This perfume line is quite inexpensive (at least in the US) and it's such a pleasant surprise to discover that many of their scents are just great!(061510)

Lemon Geranium Meets Zen Garden

A "real" summer-sun-peace fragrance that reminds me of a Zen garden designed with love for detail. A small pond, surrounded by trimmed boxwood and cypress trees. Pink and blue water lilies adorn the surface of the water. Scented geraniums dangle in white hanging pots from the woven structure of the bamboo pavilion. A bench inside invites me to let my thoughts wander and dream.
Gone is the hustle and bustle of the day when gentle incense scents meet jasmine and roses. Soft as a carpet is the short, dense grass beneath my feet as I leave the gravel path to stroll towards a small fountain in the center of the grassy circle.
I listen to the gentle splashing of water that bubbles from a stone dragon. He looks friendly, like Fuchur in The NeverEnding Story. And he seems to wink knowingly at me...
As if he understands my need for fragrance and tranquility. The garden is real! And the scent is just as real! And if I can't visit the garden in person, there is the one from the bottle... just as olfactorily equal. Dream alarm and peace island....
