Loudly Persian.
It opens with a strong sour punch which is quickly replaced by an incredibly loud and heavy Taif Rose. The rose is accompanied by a very distinctive note of black lime. For those who don't know, black lime (limoo) a sundried lime that is used in Persian cooking as a seasoning. It has a very distinctive sour lime scent that lacks the usual sweetness of lime but still has that limey citrus zing. I've never smelled it in a perfume before this, and I really like it's use here. It's very fitting to have it paired with a Taif rose and I appreciate the uniqueness of this pairing.

Overall the scent is very intense and almost overpowering in it's strength. It is rather short lived, about four hours. I'm not sure I could handle it much longer than that, so it's not a bad thing that it fades as quickly as it does. There is no evolution on the skin. It's linear without any changes after the initial sour punch fades.

Just a quick note: Persian Rose is reminiscent Prima Ballerina by Strange Invisible Perfumes, though Prima Ballerina used a sweet lime and powdery, light European rose; the lime used here is all sour with no sweetness accompanied by a rich and heavy Taif rose. Like Prima Ballerina this isn't a scent I can wear very often but it's one that I do gravitate towards from time to time because of how incredibly unique it is. I've almost used up the bottle I have.

Rose, Wonder of All Flowers
Rose, wonder of all flowers that bloom,
every petal a witness to the miracles of spring.

Even the heavenly powers delight in her.
She is the youthful passion of Aphrodite,

she is the favorite of Cythera,
her temples crowned with flower petals,

and with her sweet perfume
she intoxicates her lords.
Anacreon (580 - 495 BC)

An inconspicuous little sprayer wanted to be picked up and used today. What came out was divine.

I am currently enamored with rose scents, and this discovery today is yet another heavenly addition to my rose cravings.

Freshly sprayed, the mist, dewy and godlike, settles on my skin and drives me into true rapture. First and foremost, I am enchanted by a burst of citrus, which only much later transforms into spicy lemon balm.

Quickly, the rose joins in, determined to dominate the scent progression, unwilling to retreat, and that is just fine! A beautiful rose, for me it has a yellow, strong, sunny color, so creamy and delicate.

Balsamic undertones create the music, providing a softness that is unmatched.

Fruitiness, apart from the lemon at the beginning, I perceive little.

The persistence of the juicy, delicate, and enticing scent encounter with the Persian rose makes me doubt whether the perfume is a must-have for me.

But the coming together of the two of us was a delightful experience for my discerning nose!

For me, it can rain red roses...
...at least ones like this!

Pacifica produces largely naturally made soliflore fragrances. They come in small bottles, round and without caps, in simple but beautifully printed motif boxes without cellophane or similar. They are affordable and definitely worth their price!

I had the Persian Rose sent to me and I am truly thrilled with this scent. This is really pure red rose! From the first spray through the entire development until it fades away - unfortunately after just a few hours - a wonderful rose fragrance. Fresh, green, and unsweetened, and as authentic as I imagine a soliflore to be.

The longevity is unfortunately very limited; after 3 hours, the scent is only faintly perceptible, but reapplying is also fun in terms of price.

There is nothing musty about this rose; instead, I am holding a large bouquet of fragrant red garden roses in my arms. The scent is only perceivable in my immediate vicinity, so it’s not a room filler or anything like that.

I would prefer it in spring and summer; it truly conveys a piece of nature on the skin. Let's see, the Lotus Garden would also intrigue me...

Addendum: The bottle is screwable and thus reusable.

Beautiful rose cologne, even though it says "Perfume" - distinct rose, fruity hints, powdery-creamy, very slightly earthy.

Great summer companion! Fantastic unsweet roses, splashed with fresh lemon and lightly spiced. A long-lasting pick-me-up!
