With a fragrance through all seasons.
The opening of Pacificas "French Lilac" makes me think less of spring and more of the beginning of autumn: clearly lilac, fresh, sweet and spicy at the same time.
But already after a few seconds this spice changes, becomes almost cinnamon-like, which immediately makes me think of Christmas.
The Sillage is much stronger than my other Pacifica fragrances, with the exception of "Sugared Amber Dreams" - here again the cinnamon theme - and even though the fragrance is fresh and floral, it also has a certain heaviness, which in my eyes predestines it for all seasons, because after a few minutes the cinnamon fades away, but the fragrance remains - besides the clear floral note - still spicy and gives the lilac more and more space, which is consistently present, but now completely dominant - like the beginning of spring.
As the heart note fades away, a sultriness spreads that makes me think of warm summer months and comes along very green.
This fade, which will last for several hours, is for me the most authentic form of the lied and reminds me of the wild back garden of the summer house, where I spent so many beautiful evenings with my family during the summer holidays and watched the sun set.

Conclusion:
Blooming lilac, who doesn't think of spring and summer?
But Pacifica is so much more successful with this fragrance:
I'm not lying when I say that I haven't had so many different associations with any fragrance yet, and yet - at least theoretically - it's so simple.
What is even more important:
This fragrance is the only one that has managed to revive for me the many happy episodes of my childhood that I have spent so many summers in this small, natural cottage.
Maybe he will bring the beautiful memories back to life for all the others who have enjoyed the scent of the Flieders in the past.

True Lilac
This is indeed a very natural lilac, fresh and green without the powdery note that many lilac fragrances have. It's definitely a soliflore, if you want something complex this is not it. But if you want a true, fresh lilac scent this is it. Longevity is very good, especially the solid version, and sillage is decent. I absolutely love it!

Natural lilac
Well, Pacifica has done it again - come up with a great true-to-life soliflore at a price that can't be beat. If you are looking for a perfume that smells exactly like a lilac flower still on the bush, look no further.

I think that this would make a very charming and romantic scent for springtime (because, well, lilacs are charming and romantic). Keep in mind, though, that you must really want to smell like lilac flowers - this is a simple and straightforward floral scent.

French Lilac is also one of the stronger and longer lasting Pacificas. Thumbs up.

A whole lilac bush - the powdery blooms + the spicy greenery of the leaves. Not a solinote, and a bit too earthy for my personal taste.

The photorealistic lilac of my childhood. I had the solid perfume as a teen, and this smells exactly as I remember it.

l prefer the flower scents to smell exactly like the flowers, which Pacifica has captured in all of their perfumes. Long lasting and fresh

Beautiful lilac soliflore w/ no embellishments or framing devices whatsoever, but never feels dull or thin or incomplete. Bottle tiny. Why?
