Le meilleur de sa gamme

J'ai toujours été intrigué par Phantom EDT, mais il ne m'a jamais plus attiré que cela, c'était trop synthétique, avec une ADN que tout le monde peut avoir.

A la sortie de Phantom Intense, j'ai été le sentir et j'ai retrouvé quelque chose de totalement différent. Le côté du Phantom qui m'avait intrigué, avec l'ajout d'un côté plutôt caractériel. J'ai tout de suite été séduit par celui-ci.

Par contre, ce parfum m'a un peu déçu quant à la tenue, je dirais qu'il tient entre 4h et 5h sur peau maximum mais on peut pas tout avoir non plus, il suffit de le prendre avec soit !

Somehow floral , but smells like real flowers.Not too sweet. Smells exactly like the leaf of a tulip, a bit floral a bit sweet a bit green. I don’t understand why people don’t like this fragrance. I think it is very light and pleasant and not overpowering in any way.I think it’s better than a lot of the overhyped dupes out there

Something truly different for men

I was simply tired of these classic, fresh, and rugged men's fragrances! Always the same from all brands and always that classic masculine "hardness" in the scents. That's why I often liked to reach for a women's fragrance, as they are often much more complex, sophisticated, and harmoniously composed. Now I have finally found my favorite in the men's category, and it's this scent here. I love this sweet and slightly oriental opening with the vanilla and the iced orange blossom. It also maintains a long-lasting presence in this scent pattern, and later a pleasant spiciness joins in. It retains a certain freshness, but rather subdued and yet present. Perfectly composed for me! And the bottle is truly a beautiful eye-catcher. I own the refillable 150ml.

Fresh but Deep

At first, I wasn't a big fan of the Phantom line. I already knew the other two and didn't really like them.
Accordingly, I approached Phantom Intense with some bias...only to be proven wrong.

I smelled it for the first time in the local drugstore, the only place where I can really test perfumes.
As I said, I was surprised.
Fresh, but not superficial. Not the classic fresh men's designer scent. No, something new. (Of course, not a niche scent either)

I actually quite like it and occasionally wear it when going out...in the evening.
For the rest of the day, I would advise against it.
While it has a certain depth, it is still more of a fresh and only slightly spicy scent that fades quickly.
It's great for going out to dinner with a partner, but as soon as you're back home, the scent is almost gone.

It reminds me less of a Parisian night and more of a summer night in New York.
The evening begins, bringing each person their individual calm, while the crowd rages outside.
You sit in the bar after work and find peace, but outside is the typical big city chaos.

I would love to experience that, but I have never been to NYC.
But if I were, as a perfume lover, I would probably take a different, more refined scent to the city that never sleeps.

I also perceive the synthetic notes strongly. Normally, I tend to avoid such scents, but this one has really snuck into my heart.

It lasts about 5 hours on my skin, and the sillage is moderate.
For the price, it's a top scent, even though I wear it rarely.
A great designer fragrance with finally a new and creative character.

Steps in the Right Direction

The original Phantom is by far the worst among Paco Rabanne's club fragrances, in my opinion. Nevertheless, this little ugly thing seems to sell quite well; otherwise, it's hard to explain why it is already receiving its second flanker.
Phantom Intense is slightly less light than the EdT, a bit spicier, and somewhat less synthetic. Otherwise, it is the same. Over time, it also loses the synthetic edge and thus becomes even better. It remains a club and party scent, but this one is also conceivable for dates.
The base DNA remains the same, and I can hardly relate to it. The opening is still unpleasantly synthetic, and the rest is nice but nothing special. I'd rather go for Invictus Eau de Toilette or 1 Million Eau de Toilette.

The sillage is as expected (it's an EdP), good, but it diminishes a bit too early for me after about 2 hours, although it remains noticeable. Only after 3½ hours does it take a steep decline. 7 hours after spraying, it is only close to the skin.
The toy bottle is still hideously ugly, but slightly better than the EdT due to the gradient.

Really?! No statements at all? This stuff is really good for what it is. Mass appealing but a little different designer. No one will say you smell bad
