Tiger balsam meets leather
Wow this is a strong one. I think you are going to love it or hate it.
This starts with like you have a muscle plain and you are using a tiger balsam, but slowly changing to a strong leader, (like you are walking in a fabric full of leather jackets) i have to say in my opinion this one is little similar like TF white suede (only less sweet) it has olso some animalistic scent smels like a horse but very pleasent. Not bad at all.
There is a strong longevity and a good silage. I get a lot of compliments with this one olso.

A Manly Mans Smell
I agree with it smelling a bit industrial. When i went to their distribution store in Manhattan and asked for anything with incense and was spritzed with this, I immediately thought it smelled of motor oil. It was only after having taken the sprayed strip home and leaving it on my bureau and periodically walking past it, did I happen to appreciate it. I almost pulled the trigger on the purchase until i was told the price. Fortunately I didn’t because later I found (imo) Gucci Guilty Absolute to bare a heavy semblance to it, albeit not as camphoric and rich. Not to mention: waayyy cheaper. If money weren’t an issue: Hamdani > Guilty Absolute.

The true Arabian Horse, the only one amongst them.....
This one is such an underrated gem. And I am glad to have found out about it. This one has nothing to do with the aesthetics of the house, it's original, not mass-appealing, very complex, bold, and unapologetic. I find it to be utterly seductive and alluring but I can see why many find this repulsive. First of all, there are no animalic musks or synthetic oud accords in here. However, there are two phases of this perfume that could be challenging for many. This one is a very complex perfume that changes a lot after application, so, do test it on the skin, and do wait for it to transform. The first part, is a weird combination of very dry woods, a powerful clove punch(very mentholated), gummy resins, and a hint of honey. This first part almost has an antiseptic or shoe-polish vibe from the cloves, and it can be offputting. It's not my favorite part, but I find it to be very intriguing. Soon after this assaulting opening, the leather accord and the incense accord start to creep in and slowly assert themselves as the main players. The cloves dial down, and you start to get this beautiful brown leather, quite rugged, almost baked in the sun, that also has a buttery and salty quality to it. It feels alive and does smell of horses and stables. To that, you add a beautiful incense accord, creating this dirty and smoky leather feel. In the base, the styrax adds a hint of dirtiness, sweetness, and oriental mysticism. As I said, very complex perfume. This one does pay tribute to the two beautiful stallions on the front of the bottle, as it does smell like being around these beautiful and majestic creatures. I would say, if you are a fan of the house, stay away from this. If, however, you like to explore and expand your horizons, and you are into smoky-dirty leathers, orientals, and animalic perfumes, and you find the house laughable, boring, and commercial, then this one is not to be missed. It's quite unique, I can't compare it to anything else, but it is in the same league as Tauer's L'Oudh, Afrika Olifant, Tom ford's London, Dior's Leather Oud (OG). A gorgeous perfume.

Golden-brown leather
Well, Hamdani surely does not hold back. The opening shot is brutal with its cloves of the medicinal, camphorous kind. This miraculously transforms into an animalic type of leather. I get an image of brown, suntanned animal skin with a golden honey glow. The references to 'arabian horses' are quite accurate. Along the way, the resins come forward and smoothen out some of the hairy edges, while the scent keeps getting richer and darker.

A Parfums de Marley that slaps you in the face and then turns you in a funky old stinker. No wonder this has low scores. This one caught me by surprise and definitely won me over. Especially the mid-phase with its golden-brown glow is highly enjoyable and worth another wear.

Carrying no, dreaming yes
7:20.
Sunrise.
The clear cold of the last October night is still in the air I am sitting on the stump remains of a once proud oak tree that adorned my grandparents' garden.
Unfortunately, over the years, this oak tree became a growing threat to the small bungalow house that stood under its proud crown.
The decision was made.
After over 40 years came the end of the oak.
Everybody pitched in.
The neighbours, my uncle, friends of the family and also I, shortly before my 20th year of life, had to help out.
It took several days, but in the end the remains of the oak tree lay scattered in the garden.
Everyone took what they could use One of the neighbours built a wooden armchair from a particularly thick piece of wood.
Well, at least according to him.
Except for the stump there was nothing left of the oak tree.
And there I sat Enjoyed the morning sun shining on the tree stump.
The peace of the waking up world and the coffee.
The smell of the wood and the stirred up earth.

5 years later came the end for the garden of my grandparents.
For health reasons, they were unable to make the 2-hour drive from Berlin to Brandenburg to the garden colony.
And so the garden, which my grandparents tended for 50 years and for me and my sister since we could think was a single, huge adventure playground, was sold.

For a long time I thought about writing a comment to Hamdani, because I would not wear the fragrance.
Nevertheless, he is something very special to me, something very intimate.
It's a memory capsule for a time long past
When I spray it on a fragrance strip, I can smell the wood again, the churned earth mixed with leaves, the smoky remains from the grill and the stone slabs.
It brings up all the beautiful childhood memories (caught grandma stealing strawberries)
Now if you'll excuse me I have to go back to the garden.

Wildly off-putting - some combination of smoked fish, motor oil & leather. Tad medicinal too. Might be the worst scent I've ever smelled.

Intense honeyed florals that mask a more animalic leathery base. The fragrance doesn’t really offer much more to my nose.

Wildleder und öliges Benzin. Fehlt die Lederjacke ist der Duft wohl falsch platziert. Die dunkle Launch wird ihn allerdings begrüssen.
