Green rock in the surf
He is green - just as green as HULK. A big, friendly, green rock in the surf. It has something protective and at the same time something familiar, with positive connotations, which I can't quite put my finger on, so I can only offer my own associations here. Nevertheless, it is an absolute feel-good candidate.
In my mind's eye, images of a sheltered and secure childhood come to mind, when women in the Timotej shampoo commercials used it to wash their hair in a natural lake. The stuff was so healthy and natural.
In fact, the fragrance also has something of this shampoo; I would also like to mention Schauma 7 herbs - there is also something to it.
It also has a velvety green-smoky, barbershop-like scent - like an Alibert 3-piece mirror cabinet (the "children's mirror cabinet"), stocked with shaving utensils and pre-shave for the electric shave.
It's deep, myrrh-incensey, slightly candle-waxy..mystical-orange-syrupy.
At the same time, it reminds me of sweets with green pistachios as an ingredient, like pistachio ice cream or Dubai chocolate tiramisu.
However, I don't notice the individual ingredients, such as coconut or even leather, as they are too skillfully embedded and interwoven into the fragrance.
A perfect feel-good fragrance for fall and winter. In any case, it creates a certain mental cinema.
And in general - if that is the case - then we are dealing with a great fragrance concept. Regardless of whether you like the fragrance or not.
So now I really have to smile when I keep stumbling across associations such as Altbier-Bowle and Biermuff. Now that I read it, I can understand it with a mischievous smile. With a lot of imagination, it also has something of a natural Radler from a Munich brewery. But really only very vague. In such a way that I don't feel at all inclined to get on the beer train. nope nope...
For me, the fragrance also definitely works better on male skin compared to what it does to the skin of my female friends - it's more of a men's fragrance with a slightly androgynous twist, I would say.
In conclusion, I can only emphasize again that I didn't have the beer associations in my mind's eye at all until I read about it here.
In my opinion, it is underrated to the max here - comes off massively too badly!
Because: It's a huge, fat, big hit from the house of Guillaume.
Kind regards
