The perfume consumes, like our love ..
How I have missed interpreting myself into perfumes .. Especially with the women's fragrances that carry sensual femininity .. I discovered Le Parfum by YR last night at my niece's place. It was beautifully placed in the hallway, greeting us as we entered, looking like it was made for princesses. Cute, playful, yet with a hint of extravagance. A beautiful bottle that stands out among all the others. My daughter had to sniff it right away, but she said it was too old-fashioned for her. I don't understand how she came to that conclusion. Old-fashioned, definitely not. The bottle represents princesses, but it’s more for women who want to feel truly powdery and comfortable. Best enjoyed naked, wrapped in beautiful silk, by lovely candlelight. It has something for a pleasant, romantic night - so it's not an erotic perfume that just rolls around in smokiness and desire! Test strip - a little spray on the wrist and off into the fragrance pleasure!

My niece said she had just bought it recently because she was so taken with it after smelling it somewhere. She had asked a stranger what perfume she was wearing. Well, if strangers are asking about what perfume it is, it must have something divine and attractive about it. Now, Le Parfum is not a work of art in perfumery, but it has something beautiful and powdery about it. It is very, very floral, perhaps a bit too much for some, but I find it just right. No overly loud flowers trying to burst out of a flowerbed, but a free meadow adorned with magnificent blooms. The beginning is very loud and thrusts you into a flower meadow, but this quickly settles down. Le Parfum is a very skin-close scent. It connects with you, it literally merges with the skin. You can just feel it. Somehow, you know after a few minutes that it envelops you. Enveloping not with force, but with gentle sophistication. The heart note arrives quickly, and the violets swirl around the lily of the valley, uplifting the mood. A beautiful play of flowers, I can tell you that.

It then becomes a bit muted and transitions into depth. A bit of a crash. It warms up - becoming even smoother and enveloping itself with musk and a hint of patchouli. Yes - very pleasant. I am enchanted. The floral aspect keeps returning, but it only covers everything with a hint, so there’s no explosion of scent components. I don’t perceive the woods very distinctly. A bit withdrawn, but still somewhat present. For a few minutes, but those are somehow covered up. The women’s noses are certainly much more trained to detect such floral scents.

The longevity is quite okay. My niece said she could smell it all day long, and it remains true to its floral character. I must say, the test strip still smells elegant and beautifully immersed.

If I were to categorize it for someone, I would gift it to a woman to whom I have lost my heart like no other. But not for the wild nights where we got drunk and smoked up the place. More for an outing in nature, for a lovely dinner. It is so skinny, so lovely and somehow playful - but it still carries an extravagance that makes the wearer even more feminine and gentle. Being gentle is always desired, my dear ladies - but I also love it to be very bold. Really naughty women's perfumes, but this one .. I don’t know, it feels so close and connected to me. Just skin-close. Perhaps there is a beautiful scent transfer .. How do I perceive it on a woman who interests me? Well, who knows if that will ever happen. Many may not like it because of the many flowers, while others would swim in it. That’s how I can imagine it..

When I heard the price, I was quite stunned. Such a beautiful perfume, with such good longevity and a pretty decent sillage. So it’s worth every cent, and the perfume is not only beautiful but also draws attention. You can really be beautifully deceived when a woman pulls it out. Interpretation - oh, that’s nice and cute. But no .. hmm .. rather attractive and with a little hint of "Take my hand and I will lead you to paradise" .. The paradise where eternal happiness and the palanquin reside ..

"The perfume consumes, like our love ..
Refilled and already illuminated .. !"

Simply beautiful. Thank you YR.

Different Emphasis - Different Effect!
I have had the EDP of “Comme une Evidence” for many years. It never really belonged to my favorites. I perceived it as an elegant floral scent for a spring evening, but there was some note that bothered me just a little. Today I think it was the patchouli that I didn't recognize as such before (pre-Parfumo), since it doesn't show its typical earthy side here, as I knew it from my youth with the oils from Indian shops or later from medieval markets. This patchouli note somehow didn't quite fit my perception of the spring-like floral mix. Today, I would give the EDP a 7.5.

However, since the perfume version is quite affordable, I also got it. In my opinion, it shows a completely different character than the EDP. And that is precisely because the patchouli comes through stronger here. It makes the perfume appear deeper and more noble. I would no longer describe this version as a floral scent, even though the flowers, especially the rose, are certainly present. It leans more towards a woody direction. Chypre? I have always associated that with oak moss, although I know that patchouli can also form the base in chypres. No, I do not perceive the perfume as a chypre - I can hardly recognize the mentioned oak moss, which is just fine with me.

The perfume suits me best for the evening or going out.

If it has to be "the best."
Comme une Evidence is a great floral chypre. As an EDT and EDP, it is very suitable for everyday wear. However, I prefer the pure perfume. It is truly even more "intimate" than the other variants. The scent is very strong and lasts all day, with a sweet note that can be sensed in the base at the end. The fragrance is really erotic in its own way, and you can be sure of the compliments.

The scent has a beautiful note that makes it feminine, sensual, and elegant.

Comme une Evidence is my 2nd favorite fragrance from YR, if it were up to me.

Annick Ménardo is the perfumer and has revealed that 20% fragrance oil is contained in the pure perfume. Furthermore, 80% of Ménardo's fragrances contain pheromones. They make you more attractive, sexy, and beautiful.

Hypnose (Lancome) and Hypnotic Poison (Dior) were also created by Ménardo.

In any case: I am thrilled, even though many people are running around with Comme une Evidence....

Best regards, Zjarr!

Like a Matter of Course?
More like a promise! Besides the Secrets d'Essences fragrances from Yves Rocher, I don't really like many Rocher scents. Even though they are surely well-made.

I initially encountered Comme un evidence as an EdT and, to be completely honest, I wasn't exactly thrilled. Too piercing and too loud. Therefore, I had no ambitions to comment on it.
But when I recently came across the L'Extrait de parfum at a good price, I decided to order it as well.

The Extrait also starts off quite loud and a bit piercing; I suspect there's too much violet leaf. I actually want to be disappointed, as the heart note is initially quite loud and floral. I can't identify individual accords, but I tend to lean towards a lily-of-the-valley-jasmine emphasis. However, the flowers become increasingly quieter and more pleasing.

The base of the Extrait makes its presence known quite early, and it is truly beautiful. Very warm and rounded yet not gourmand. Patchouli does not bring any musty or earthy notes, and the other fragrance components form a very harmonious, pleasant but dry unity.

In contrast to the EdP or EdT, I like this version; the base has particularly captivated me, and the scent also lasts exceptionally long.

The bottle is very minimalist but gains a somewhat playful appearance from the pump bulb. These two contrasts - the minimalist and the playful - fit perfectly with the fragrance. For a scent of this quality, the price-performance ratio is simply unbeatable!

Evidences in Comparison from Herbal to Sweet
Dear Yves Rocher fans, today I took the time to test all three versions (excluding the light L'Eau) of Evidence and present the comparisons to you as clearly and compactly as possible.

Evidence Eau de Parfum: This truly timeless classic hardly needs any description. It starts with a very alcoholic top note that disappears within a few minutes, making way for herbal floral nuances and blooming rose notes (Damask rose). This version is the lightest, most unobtrusive, and versatile to wear.

Evidence Eau de Parfum Intense: This version is currently my personal favorite as it is a bit sweeter, more floral, and an absolute feel-good fragrance. I will most likely use this scent mainly in the evenings for relaxation or going out.

Evidence Le Parfum: This version is probably the most intensely scented of all the Evidence perfumes. It has a very nice sweet rose scent that feels very heavy, and I personally would only wear it on very special occasions like birthdays, visits, or anniversaries, as it has something truly special and one could almost say romantic about it.

I really hope that my descriptions have helped you a bit with your purchasing decision. Fans of the original can definitely buy the other two versions with peace of mind, as they are very similar.

Slim, light, accessible easy-to-wear rose chypre. Also great for chypre/rose/flower/boomer-phobes (like me, for example).

Evidence Intense feels like a girl compared to Le Parfum, the grande dame. Softer, more mature, and great longevity. That's how I like Chypre.

Much softer than the regular CuE, doesn't scratch as much. The longevity is amazing, about 20 hours for me!

What a beautiful scent, it reminds me a bit of "For Her" by N. Rodriguez. A spicy-soft rose chypre that should be used sparingly.

Lovely women's perfume with a mild-spicy sweetness. Floral, lightly fresh, and beautifully chypre in the dry down. Simply beautiful. P/L 7-8
