Luna Rossa Ocean Le Parfum Prada 2024

For me this is an fragrance that really got messed up in the process.

The initial opening to this is an citrus bomb, you can literally not smell anything else and its just too much. When you let it dry down you get this sweet feeling to it with the saffron combined with the lemon notes.

Overall this is an good fragrance if you can just overlook the initial opening.

I love fragrances like these, small note breakdown, but everything is very prominent and there is enough to make you think there is a little bit more to it.

I thought I would have hated this Amber Xtreme aroma chemical simply because I really hate Ocean EDP. I thought it smelled sloppy and not balanced at all with little to no freshness. This is an immense improvement over the EDP, I would also say its an improvement over the EDT but its a bit different because its more composed as a blue fragrance and this is completely different.

This fragrance really surprised me, its a very dominant amber but its not too overbearing because of the lemon and an underlying freshness which makes this a lot more wearable compared to something like Hero EDP/Parfum. The saffron in here really surprised me, usually saffron is not very good in mainstream designer releases but this one is very nice, it hits all the right spots for me and compliments the amber and oak notes very well. Not complex at all but has some spicy personality to it. Definitely the best in the Ocean line in my opinion.

Something weird about this fragrance is that it definitely smells different around food, and not in a good way. Maybe its the food I was around that made it smell that way but its not great. So I would only wear this when I'm *not* planning on eating anything any time soon as I find it unpleasant. Otherwise, since I live in a relatively hot and dry climate, I find this to be wearable year round during the night time as long as it is not humid. A somewhat challenging release, this is.

It’s fresh and sweet but has some dark woods. Reminds me of those Cuban cigar colognes from back in the day, but way better quality. It’s Prada so it still has that clean soapy touch to it. Not like Prada Lhomme soapy, but just fresh smelling with woods and sweet citrusy and saffron? (I’m not gonna act like I can decipher each note) Idk I’m going based off what’s listed.

I get a sweet, citrusy, woody yet fresh tobacco like fragrance and it just works for me. Now when I say tobacco I don’t mean like spicebomb red. It actually doesn’t remind me of any of the similar fragrances listed. Maybe Layton but hardly. Like I said it reminds me of the Cuban cigar colognes. I love it.

Works great in cold weather but can wear during summer nights also. I wore this to work (hospital) and got 3 Compliments. I feel like if I can wear a fragrance to a hospital and nobody complain, then I can wear this anywhere anytime. Hope this helps

With this Le Parfum, I feel like you get a little bit of everything that you would expect from a cologne. It’s spicy it’s fresh. It’s sweet with the woody dry down. I would say you can’t go wrong with this one in any occasion. Day or night. Clubbing or maybe just on a date this fragrance here is still going to get the job done.
