You Bring Light to Dark Days
Today I visited the Rituals store. I had to get a gift for my valued colleague. I enjoy doing that, a little browsing, also for my own needs. What a lucky coincidence, I could also pick up my belated gift right away. And there it was, the pomegranate red bottle with the note: fruity! Does it always have to be smoky, gourmand, spicy, oriental just because the leaves are changing color, the tree crowns are thinning, and the drizzle makes me pull my shoulders up.... Nope. So I grab the sprayer and douse my wrist and immediately after a deep inhalation I exclaim: oh my God... you are beautiful! I smell cranberry, that davana note, something woody, vanilla-like. You sweet fruity minx... I still need you in my collection, because variety is simply a must for me. The fragrance, which many will probably wear in spring/summer, accidentally found its way into my little perfume world in autumn; actually, I am currently in a phase of reduction! Too many scents simply overwhelm me, but I need variety just like with food! For me, this scent is like the cheeky woman who dances out of line. While in autumn/winter everyone is dressed in gray, brown, and black, she wears red. Sillage/moderate but hey, for the slim penny, it's fun to reapply this scent throughout the day!
